Excited to possibly see Nance get big minutes. Been very impressed by him from the scrimmage videos and from his activity in yesterday's game.

I like to see Upshaw get some minutes guarding Okafor. Was awesome seeing Upshaw blocking Towns.

Tarik is also a beast. Good test for him to prove his worth. Starting to like our youth a lot. Our front court with Bass and Hibbert might not blow people away but it's sufficient.

Me too but lets be cautious here. No need to risk serious injury for meaningless games. He's already proved his worth.

Just imagine the overreaction if Dlo has a terrible game, and Okafor looks dominant.

Yeh let's save the injuries for the more meaningful games :) Jokes - touch wood, fingers crosses?

Sixer scrubs w/o a single shooter on the floor tonight. Just pack it in against OK4.

The few games I've seen of Okafor he really seems like an old school back to the basket center. He's not a KAT where he can come off a pick and hit a mid range jumper. He looked like he really needs to be fed in the post for him to be successful and it didn't look like the guys he was playing with during SL were any good at that at all.
Talking about how bad Julius Randle is:

From reading other people's opinions and from my own, Russell really needs to work on his handles/craftiness. CP3 and Steph have meh athleticism, but don't really have any issues getting in the lane, and to the basket. Wasn't he already slated to have the best handles in the draft?

They announced it at the beginning of the week. It's their plan to sit him out in back to backs. They said it was in precaution of his foot surgery, not his broken tibia.

I don't mind it though. We don't want him to recur like kevin durant, especially since the preseason is 3 months away. I'm going to enjoy getting an extended look at Nance Jr. tonight anyways.

I'm really hoping that Dlo and JC can reign some terror on Philly today. I don't suspect they have any semblance of a defense to stop them (especially in the post lol), so I'm hoping for some good games from both of them.

We got the Good Witch of the North to protect us from Sixer trolls.

Anyways, I expect Russell to destroy those scrub guards that Philly's been rolling out in Summer League. Stopping Okafor may be a problem though.........
