Len is considering playing for the Ukrainian national team in EuroBasket, which will be held Sept. 5-20 with Ukraine's group playing in Latvia. Len is one of seven 7-footers on Ukraine's 22-man preliminary roster.

This is pretty disappointing to hear. Especially for a guy like Len who has a very hard time not getting injured. Suns need to do what's best for his professional career and prohibit him from it imo. It's not that uncommon, Pop did to Ginobili a year or two ago.

Yeah I'm with you guys - I get the playing for your country thing, but Steven Adams is from New Zealand and as basically our best player, easily.

He made the executive decision (with a whisper in the ear from OKC I've no doubt) - to forego playing for the NZ team, at least until his body etc adjusted to the rigors of an 82 game season.

Len should get through 1-2 full seasons without injury before even really thinking about playing for the Ukraine.

Seven 7-footers??? There wouldn't be that many 7-footers in all of New Zealand!!

I completely disagree with you guys, especially in light of the Chandler signing.

Len will be the centerpiece of that Ukrainian team this year if he plays. He needs time to be "the man" to develop his game. Look how much better Dragic got from leading the Slovenian team. Guys like Westbrook, DRose, etc. took their first major jumps to superstar status because of national team participation.

If we were competing for a championship this year and Len was a centerpiece, I wouldn't be excited about him getting the extra miles. The reality is that this team is still at least two years AND a LOT of growth away from being at that level.

This is a good opportunity for Len to grow as a player and I'm glad he's taking it.

I agree and disagree. Can definitely see the benefits of him being the focal point etc...

Dragic had nowhere NEAR the injury history that Len has had at such a young age. College AND NBA he's had bad injuries - he needs to get his body ready for 82 games and there is no better place for him to be than training in Phoenix, with the NBA's best trainers, against/with his Suns' teammates.

Bruno Caboclo with 15 pts, 3 3s, 5 boards and 3 steals today. That would suck if he blew up and he was our target with our 3rd first rounder last year. I am excited about Bogdan though, but if we liked him we could have taken him instead of Ennis.

Of course those are not great numbers for summer league, but I thought he was more raw than that.

Also nice game for Brandon Ashley just now. 15 pts and 5 boards. 1-2 from 3.

Ashley will make a team. I couldn't believe he wasn't drafted. Stretch 4s are hard to find & the kid can shoot and defend.

We won't able to watch it on internet? You know, there are some websites. Can't we watch from even there? :banghead:

For the Aussies, all Summer league games so far have been on League Pass for free, I watch it via the Apple TV app.

For fun we can try to predict the numbers in the tournament of Len, Goodwin, Warren and Booker...or the players that you think that have
an important role on the team.We have to remember that the games are shorter and the players wil not play big minutes.

Goodwin: 14p, 4r, 3a
Warren: 21p, 7r, 3a
Booker: 9p, 2r, 1a
Len: 14p, 11r, 3b

Hopefully this is a good time for guys like Len, Booker, Goodwin and Warren to get better.

But what I am really looking for are two guys to step up and be players 14 and 15, cheap guys who sit on the bench but that have a skill that can be used that are good locker room guys like Diante Christmas was two years ago. There is a reason they are free agents, playing in Europe - hopefully somebody shows something. Especially a big. You can never have enough big guys who are six fouls but bring energy or rebounding. Even if they are a fouler

TV: Sunday's and Tuesday's Suns games will air live on NBATV.

Paul Coro

No TV for today's game?
On Ballstreams they don't have our game.
Anyone knows if every game is available on League Pass?

I'm wondering what announcement will Silver have this year to interrupt the broadcast

It happens literally every single year to the Suns.

Great.
I have seen MotherTucker in some Summer Suns pratice too, these two are early with the team and that are always good news.
