Schweinsteiger is the first German player at Man United.

Not that surprising. Ferguson hated Germans with a passion. Think it had something to do with WWII, but i'm not 100% sure.

Btw Kroos only moved because he wanted more money. He would've signed for ManUtd if it wasnt for Van Gaal who he dislikes.

They still have Alaba, Hojbjerg, Rode and bought the talented youngster Kimmich. Also, Pep somehow insists on playing Lahm there, because he's "so clever, super super".

I expect them to go after Xhaka(Gladbach) next summer, if they don't do something this summer already.

Alaba is a natural 8 who is more of a difference maker at that position and has only been playing LB because Bayern need him there more. Using him in midfield is one of the best things Pep has done as Alaba and Robben were Bayern's best players until they got hurt.

Hojbjerg is coming back from loan and Gaudino keeps moving closer to filling a regular rotational role. Kimmich will enter the 6 rotation and should take over that spot within the next 2 seasons and Dorsch is a nice prospect at that spot. I think they'd be in a pretty good spot if they used Gotze further back like they should and added one more guy who they can already trust to start if Thiago gets hurt again; like Turan :P or Kramer

At the 6:
Javi
Alonso
Kimmich
Lahm
Rode
Dorsch

At the 8s:
Alaba
Thiago
Gotze
Turan/Kramer/other-signing
PEH
Rode
Gaudino
Scholl

Pedro from Barcelona to Chelsea.

He will do well for them. He has the goals in him that Hazard, Willian and some of the other attacking midfielder dont have.

Pedro can disappear at times, and he can be a ball hog sometimes. Will try to take it instead of making the easy pass for the goal.
He does have a nose for the ball though.

Pep shouldn't be blamed for Schweinsteiger's departure. Bastian talked about once playing abroad (especially in the BPL) with regularity over his whole career and now it seems to be the perfect opportunity. United is a big club, he has history with van Gaal and the offer is also appealing.
There weren't any challenges left at Bayern as he has already won every important title.

I wish him all the best at United. Hands down my favorite player.

But even now, Bayern isn't weak at all in central midfield. Höjbjerg, Kimmich and Gaudino are top talents who all fit nicely into Pep's style of play. Especially Höjbjerg is ready for the next step. It is no coincidence that Dortmund, Leverkusen and Gladbach were all interested in him because he is already able to have an impact in the Bundesliga.

I think Bayern is patiently observing the market and could eventually buy another wing player and/or defender.

Douglas Costa is left-footed and should be more comfortable as Robben's backup. Bayern needs another right-footed player who is able to play on the left wing and go past one or two defenders.
Bayern is simply too predictable without Ribery and Robben and should finally add similar type of players as solid backups. Both Ribery and Robben are too injury prone.

Götze is too slow to play on the wing. He was simply disappointing last season when he got plenty of playing time there. He couldn't create anything while a player like Ribery is a real threat as soon as he has the ball on the left wing. He goes past the defender with ease.
