Man that's rough, the kid is so talented and didn't even get to show it yet. It's worst then Oden. But he can still come back, not finished yet. Only 21 YO.

Greg Oden part 2.

I said this a while ago when another Heat poster told me that the Sixers had a brighter future than us and that Joel Emid was going to be better than Hassan…

My response then was, I'll believe it when I see it. Well… its turning out almost exactly like I predicted. F**K the Sixers they're born losers. I hope they choke on the scrub that our pick nets them next season.

I do feel bad for Embiid though, poor kid never had a chance. :(

It's a mixture of being pissed at us and the Lakers and then on the other side of it there are people trying to convince themselves and their fan base that this was for the best and that we will be in the same position next year dealing them a lottery pick. I can't wait until we send those bastards a pick in the 20's. Oh but before that it'll be awesome to see Hassan rape Embid the injury prone center that their tanking franchise hinges on.

If Embid stays healthy, he's a franchise 20/10 big.
Embid can pass out of double teams, do dream shakes, and would of been the 1st pick(in one of the best drafts in recent injury) if not for his injury. Even if he never plays a game, their in way better position than us for the next 3+ years.
We'll be decent next year, but we won't win 50 games, most likely win 45 games and pick 17th.

If you want to believe in them and the way that they're building their team go ahead I certainly don't. Greg Oden was a much more exciting prospect than Embid and what happened to him? If he doesn't pan out they're right back to step one they need him to be a star. Foot injuries on a big guy are a huge red flag. He was actually supposed to play towards the end of this season before he had a set back. We'll see how good he ends up being… That is if he ever manages to step on the court.

1. Sixers only been tanking since the 2013-214 season, next year they won't be tanking. They missed in the playoffs after trading for Andrew Bynum in the 2012 Summer.

2. Greg Oden was injury prone and didn't have the offensive game Embid does.

3. Zydunas Ilgauskus had the same injury as Embid but was able to have a long career.

4. They have Nerlens an elite defensive big; Saric(one of the best prospects in Europe), a top 5 pick, cap space, and future picks from OKC; LAL, and our pick. If they wanted to they could trade Boogie next year; sign FA's and field a playoff team.

Or they could tank again… Look that sounds like a whole lot of talk. I'll believe it when I see it.

Yeah…

Sixers still suck lol and those picks are useless. Boston couldn't get Justise Winslow and they offered 4, 1st rounders and 2, 2nd rounders.

Next years draft class sucks outside of Ben Simmons. Could luck actually getting any value out of those picks.

No one misses their first two seasons and makes a comeback Rex. He wasn't NBA ready as it was. Foot injuries are huge red flags for big men. He's supposed to have another survey and miss another year then somehow get onto the court and play a whole season? I don't see it.

None of us has the information needed to predict his future. Brook Lopez still out there getting max money. Ilgauskas played with us until he was like 50 YO.

There's tanking, and then there's what Philly does. The two are not one and the same. Let's be clear on that.

Tanking sounds real good until you realize the #1 pick isn't guaranteed, some of the GOAT are drafted later in the lottery and it seriously affects free agency.

The guy is 7'4", 293 lbs and slow. Hasn't played a ton of minutes but it's going to be interesting to see what he can do.

That's Amy Schumer. She wrote the movie and stars in it. It's called "Trainwreck" and is somewhat autobiographical.

She asked Lebron James to be in the movie because he is the only basketball player she had ever heard of. He said "yes" and that's how it went down.

I haven't seen the movie, but from the trailer, Lebron did a decent job.

5.9 on IMDB and the movie didn't even come out yet, god knows how low it'll go when it does.

Title of the movie and rating ratio are on par.

gotta hope for a big Z trajectory with health. Not the most likely scenario, but at least there's precedent

yeah, it'll be interesting how his game translates to the NBA. Pop could make it work somehow perhaps.

If Verajo can stay healthy for them in the playoffs that's a nice back up C for the Cavs.

Health is one and probably the only concern I would have as a "Cavs" fan....been saying that before last year and will be the case again this upcoming year. No different from us....
