On the 8th day, after a much needed rest, God created the Astros.

On the 9th day, God created alcohol so fans of the Astros could cope with being fans of the Astros.

Couldn't watch the game today due to work but I guess I'm glad I missed it. Even with Keuchel going we can't get a win. They're really struggling right now, so I suppose the AS break is coming at a good time. Hopefully they can get back on track in the second half.

Even Correa is struggling terribly, only 2-23 in his last 6 games.

Damn you KC for injuring Springer!

If this is how Dallas Keuchel responds to the Astros being disrespected then I hope that he knows that everyone, everywhere disrespects the Astros.

SO KEEP PITCHING LIKE THAT!!! :D

That Saturday night game was annoying. Ruined Odor(yes, that is his name forever) can suck a taint.

As for tonight's game, can our hitters(looking at you, Gonzalez) stop getting hit? Both legs in consecutive AB's, he's going to have fun walking around tomorrow.

Nice to see Carter finally do what he's here to do. I hope it's the beginning of his long-awaited second half surge of doom!

Angels finally lost today, got a chance to gain some ground on them if we can win tonight.

Soooo....we get to play KC again tonight, with Kazmir getting his first start as an Astro.

How many of our guys will get thrown at/hit in this series, and will Hinch have the balls to retaliate if/when that happens again? I just hope we can escape the series without any of them getting the Springer treatment.

And a series win, of course.

I'm hoping that this series doesn't get too ugly, but it likely will.

I'm also hoping they can translate their success at home to the road. That last road trip before the break was brutal.

Kazmir looking good so far, and Tucker continues to smash the ball. It's a shame his defense is mediocre and he can only play LF. I'm looking forward to seeing his brother play, apparently he's just as good but a much better athlete.

If Marisnick could hit like Tucker and Tucker could defend like Marisnick, you'd have a George Springer.

And you'd have yourself possibly the best damn OF in the league.

Get back soon, George! This was supposed to be the summer of George!

Piss nuggets. Feldman was great tonight, sucks to lose this one.

We got Keuchel going tomorrow though, still a good chance to win the series and move on to the LAAAAAA of Anaheim AA.

Trout is back in the lineup tonight for the Angels, Kazmir will be making his home debut, and Lowrie is finally back!

Sure would be lovely to get a sweep.
