McConnell outplayed McNeal by a MILE today.

Without a doubt. Mickey looks better than Archie. I doubt Archie gets the QO.

I don't know, I was wondering the same, but while starting to respond, Mickey and Luke had a GREAT play. Man I kind of want Mickey and Luke on our team.
Not quite sold on Harangody, but McConnell looks legit.
Yes, I don't like him as much (and Mike James an Harrelson have also looked good), but PF might be our position of most need, and he has shown he can hit the 3, so I was thinking I don't know what we have behind Kieff. I like Teletovic and hope Leuer is good, but don't know much about them. Harangody doesn't look great, but he looks like a smart player and a hard worker. And it wouldn't hurt to have some fightin irish.
I mean, as a 4th PF, sure, whatever. But if we are looking for true PF depth, I doubt he's the answer. I'd actually take a hard look at Andrea Bargnani. Not 100% sure what our cap situation is right now, but on the right deal, he'd be a great signing and a perfect stretch 4. Might be able to get him cheaper now that the big money has dried up.

Re: Summer League Fun
Clearly it is all about expectations. We have big expectations for Goodwin and Len , but these 2 players need more minutes at gym.
In other side Tj Warren, Booker give us a good feeling because we think they are not ready for their NBA debut. Instead they are in a better mode than other rookies.
P.S. Mcdermott and Portis in the other match have been really impressive (tweets say)

He'll get traded before it comes to that in my opinion.

Most of it was from the FT line. While it's a good skill to be able to draw contact and knock down the FTs it's literally the ONLY thing he has in his arsenal. NBA defenders will just sag off him and dare him to shoot.

Great. I'm going to the game tomorrow and was looking forward to watching Len. I was at summer league last year but Len had broken his finger the day before.
So you have superhuman luck as well.
Apparently I do

He's just kind of out of control. Look at the +/-....he is the only Sun with a minus even though he scored the most points. Mickey actually had the biggest +.

Re: Summer League Fun
If the debate about our backup PG is between McNeal and Mickey it should be Mickey hands down, he has shown so much more.
Nashidis, I'm not sure what to make of your criticism of Alex Len? The quick fouls early? He's only had one the rest of the game, and he's shown no issues with it in the regular season. As a matter of fact, in the regular season he was phenomenal at getting his hands up and holding his ground. This is a bit of a moot point anyway as Len is now playing behind one of the best true centers in the NBA.

Archie and warren out there together at the same time is very redundant, both are looking to score but Warren is way better and more efficient at it. Booker is a much better fit next to him

Re: Summer League Fun
McConnell with only 3 points, but most importantly 6 assists, 0 turnovers, and a +/- of +10. Only Warren had higher with +11.

He looks like an athlete, not an NBA guard. Disappointing since we had such high hopes for him. Not really sure what the issue is, but it seems like he hasn't really improved on much since his rookie season. He kind of reminds me a little of a Corey Maggette, or better yet, by Corey Maggette's perfect nickname "Bad Porn"....there's penetration, and scoring....but no one really enjoys what they're watching.

Warren had the highest plus, +1 ahead of Mickey.
