Some ppl may wonder if Lin is a one dimensional PG who can't play at slow pace or poor spacing.

If they look at Rondo(DAL), D-Will(Nets) and Dragic(Suns), they were both unhappy about how the teams using them.

Last trade deadline, there were many PGs/backup PGs switching teams.

I think this is due to the eye test, Lin is pretty garbage in iso sets and is can be made to look foolish against the elite physical beast PGs in the West. But the thing is that kind of play looks good on highlight videos but not that relevant to the overall game (around 10% of the plays), most of the time you're defending against the PnR and spot up shooting. The Synergy Sports stats say that Lin is pretty decent at that but isn't the type of thing you'd notice unless you look at the numbers.

This is what I saw with Lin on the Rockets, didn't watch many Lakers games cus.. lol. Anyhow we'll see how Lin does against the PGs in the east with the Hornets. Old stats are old.

How come so many Jeremy Lin followers/posters are new? I would've expected them to been on RealGM and carried over from the Knicks/Rockets/Lakers stops

There is no accountability for veterans on this team. The role he has already been promised will likely never be threatened here, so if he takes some time to adjust or goes through a cold spell he wont have to worry about having his minutes cut.

That was what I thought. Kato was Asian and Green Hornet was a rich American. I personally don't see how it is politically incorrect. Green does not seem to be a negative reference to any culture as far as I can tell.

Maybe we call Frank the Green Hornet and Lin Kato since they will work together in pick and pop or rolls in the second unit.

What forum were most of you new Lin fans posting on prior to signing up for Realgm? Why weren't you guys signed up on Realgm before this week, either as Knicks, Rockets or Lakers fans? Is it because you found other forums for each of those teams, such as ClutchCity?

Mostly reddit, r/charlottehornets is pretty inactive. I looked around for more active boards; one seems actively hostile to the lin fans and this one seems fairly neutral with active mods so hopefully yall keep the trolls and crazy Lin fans in check. I'm mostly a lurker, just here to soak up info and stay out of any drama and trolling bs.
