Got back from the game an hour ago. Great crowd tonight...get's me really excited about playoff baseball. There were certain moments that I couldn't hear myself cheering, which is a first for me at MP. Good game...Bushy pitched well, and Corey Hart had a hot bat. Ryan Braun played well, with a nice defensive play mixed in. Even CC contributed, with that double down the line in the first.
I was even a recepient of free pizza from Palermo's for sitting in section 224 (our seats were higher than usual, but it was still very cool). Or so I think...I never actually went down to the office to pick up whatever they had for me. Getting out of MP was a higher priority for me LOL.
Note: Please do not try to start the wave with 1 out in the 9th. Anyone who has every gone to a pro sporting event should know it takes at least five minutes to get even a semblance of a wave going, and if people are leaving, it doesn't help. Another thing, if you're going to have your kid with you at a game, try to control him/her. There was this three/four year old who was throwing a massive tantrum a couple rows up during the game. Deal with your kid, please, and don't ruin the game for the rest of us. Lastly, drink responsibly. There were a couple near accidents on the way out of MP that involved some drivers who I expect were a little tipsy. One car nearly hit me, and I could see their kids in the back jumping around while this drunken **** was sitting in the front ignoring the cars driving by. Be safe.
It was a fun game, altogether.
