I think if you're starting Russell who also is pretty raw so far, there's no point in not starting Randle too... The point of this season is to develop our raw talent. Russell and Randle are both going to be tired a few months into the season. If you need to sit them then, fine, but I think it's important for their development as well as their value for them, if they're physically able to, to start.
Russell, Lou
Clarkson, j. Brown
Kobe, Young, A. Brown
Randle, Bass, Nance
Hibbert, Black, Upshaw
I think.

Clarkson and Black are the only ones who know the offense that's installed, this is why Clarkson's usage and shots are way ahead of anybody else's. Bottom line nobody is picking up the Princeton in only a few days of practice like they've had.Pointgod wrote:Lakers need to fire Scott and get a coach that's going to install an actual offense that's tailored to Russell's game. This dribbling the crap out of the ball for 20 seconds isn't going to work. The team needs motion, back door cuts, Russell's already shown above average passing ability. We need an offense that will get guys open.
I don't pretend to know the intricacies of NBA offenses, but how many teams in the NBA are actually running the Princeton offense? To me it seems counter intuitive to take the ball out of your best creator's hands when you have 3 great ball handlers that can create off the dribble. Just spread the offense and pick and roll the opposition to death. Take advantage of our perimeter ball handling and hit early and often. To me it seems like the Princeton takes too much time to read and react.

If any Lakers board member here posts on the Sixers board in a slightly negative/annoying way, stop it, it's getting old. If members go to other boards and contribute nothing to the conversation, speak up and out them.
On Harden being MVP of this season ( I don't even like Harden much)

Ever.
Absolute spud of a bloke and **** traits as a player, basically tarnish the MVP forever
