WHY ARE WE THINKING ABOUT TRADING FOR EMBIID? THIS IS NOT NBA 2K!!!!!
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

@WojYahooNBA: Oklahoma City has informed Portland it has matched $70M offer sheet for restricted free agent Enes Kanter, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

70 freaking million for enes Kanter?! Enes Kanter!! Wow, this is the age of over paying for average talent.

Imagine what Tim kempton could have got.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

It's weird but locking up Knight & Blade for 5 years would be the smartest thing McD would have done until you consider the fact that he extended the Morris twins when almost no one thought he should have. That looks like a genius move in this salary climate.

Markieff does have a very good contract. I just hope he is willing to move forward as no doubt, he is the better of the the two without question and maybe without his brother, he improve.

OKC had to match Kanter - they need to win this year to keep KD35 in OKC.

But it is the Sixers we are talking about. I wouldn't be surprised if Embiid ends up getting traded for a top 60 protected pick

People aren't talking about stealing him away, they're talking about trading Kieff for him.....

If that's the case, we should trade Bledsoe for me, I haven't played competitive basketball in 2 years either.

I'm still not sold on Leuer for us. Would rather look at a guy that could conceivably back up both the 4 and 5 positions. We do eed to plan for the prospect of missing Kieff for several games this year due to suspension. As few as 8-10 games could derail our chances at the 8th seed. There are still a few guys out there as FAs that remain unsigned, and while I get the fact that if they are still unsigned at this point, they likely aren't worth much, but would suspect they are worth more than what will be available in a few months when the suspension hits.

And yes, I get that it may be all for naught, as Kieff may be cleared completely, but again, an 8-10 game suspension could be the difference between 3-4 wins. So what are your thoughts on these guys coming in cheap? (Smith and James listed first, being former teammates with Tyson)

Greg Smith - 6' 10" 260, 7' 2.5" Wingspan, 8' 11" Reach -- 1.9pts/1.8rebs in 8 mpg

Bernard James - 6' 10" 230, 7' 3" Wingspan, 9' .5" Reach -- 2.6pts/2.3rebs in 9mpg

Quincy Acy - 6'8" 240, 7' 2.5"Wingspan, 8' 11" Reach -- 6pts/4.5rebs in 19 mpg

Henry Sims - 7' 245, 7' 4" Wingspan, 9' Reach -- 8pts/5rebs in 19mpg

Arinze Onuaku - 6'9" 260 -- 4.5pts/3.5rebs 11 mpg

Justin Hamilton - 7' 255, 7' 2" Wingspan, 9' 1" Reach -- 2.8pts/2rebs in 12mpg

Pero Antic - 6' 11" 260 -- 5.4pts/3rebs in 16mpg

Glen Davis - 6' 9" 290 -- 3.8pts/2.2rebs in 12mpg

Reggie Evans - 6' 9" 250, 7' 2" Wingspan, 9' 1" Reach -- 3.7pts/6.4rebs in 16mpg

Tyler Hansbrough - 6' 10" 250, 6' 11.5" Wingspan, 8' 10" reach -- 3.5pts/3.5rebs in 14 mpg

Jeff Withey - 7' 240, 7' 2" Wingspan, 9' 2" Reach -- 2.6pts/1.7rebs in 7mpg

Kevin Seraphin - 6' 10" 280 -- 6.5pts/36rebs in 15 mpg

Darrell Arthur - 6'9" 235, 6' 11" Wingspan, 8' 11" Reach -- 6.6pts/2.9rebs in 17 mpg

Ryan Hollins - 6' 11" 235, -- 3pts/2.3rebs in 10mpg

Looks like the Thunder are now looking to dump a few players for salary reasons, id give up that 2020 Pistons 2nd rounder for PJ3! A former 5 star recruit, 6'11 SF/PF deserves a 2nd chance! :D

Is he making that much money that trading him for 2nd rounder is worth it for them? And hows our cap space to absorb his salary?

Holy crap. That would be FANTASTIC. Let's get rid of Keef for a guy that actually has the balls to go grab a rebound every now and then.

Make it a 3 team deal. Give up Keef to a team that will pick in the 20-30 range and have them send their pick to OKC. Then we can send a top 13 (we must keep getting the 13th pick) protected pick to OKC for McGary.

Thoughts?

I never said I would get rid of Kieff for McGary. **** no

I meant if he's available for scraps, which he isn't, in which case we shouldn't touch it

I am not sure OKC will match Kanter but how about this

Cleveland: Kieff

Suns: McGary

OKC: Haywood - contract to waive

Granted, just like how in 2010 when Sarver pocketed the 18m for Ben Wallace in the Shaq trade instead of, as reported, takingTyson Chandler (and I think we all know wit Tyson at the 5 that year, swept the Spurs, lost to the Lakers in 6, the Suns WOULD have won the champnship!!) - but like Amare with a true 5; the idea of Kieff with an experienced big man with him on defense and rebounding and teaching him how to play - Ithink he can improve IF, big IF, his head is okay with his brother gone

Personally, the brotheron different teams is what they both need.

terrible, terrible value.

Every single year I've been calling for PJ3

Huge length, athletic, decent shot, huge defensive potential

But guess what, guy can't put even two good games together and has had all the opportunity in the world.

Honestly, I doubt he'll ever put it all together. That ship has sailed imo

Weems is easily good enough to be played 15-20 minutes every night imo

Personally, I would rather have Weems and Warren getting more minutes than Tucker but that's just me
