There was that one play where Willie had David Wear wide open next to the basket, but he didn't know how to get the ball past his own defender. Instead, he made an awkward one on one move and bricked the shot.

I hope the minutes arent due to medical or work ethic reasons

Willie lost a clear defensive rebound there... I haven't been too impressed yet in my first game watching

He said yesterday he gets to take himself out when he wants. He limited his minutes in quarters 1-3 so he could play all of the 4th.... So there's that

It's sad that Duje Dukan is better than James Anderson. I'm pretty sure Dukan was a bench player on Kaminsky's Wisconsin team.

Cauley-Stein has 4 fouls in 9 minutes. He's busting, I'm afraid.

Let's freak out over SL!

WCS isn't the guy to lead your team. If that's what you're expecting right now then you shouldn't watch because it ain't happening.

I'm not watching the game so I'm not sure what you're seeing. Stats wise, JA is shooting 100% with 2x the points of Dukan. Although Dukan is +13 +/- compared to JAs +7.

I don't want to harp or be negative because I love the fanbase and we can disagree on stuff, but one half in and Im not confident

There we go, a good sequence by Cauley-Stein.

Another in-control play by Cauley-Stein. Didn't block the shot, but stayed in front of the player, didn't leave his feet, didn't lunge at the player, just put his arms straight up and altered the shot. Looked like he knew what he was doing. Hasn't always looked like that.

GS not putting up much of a fight. Could they not find anyone wanting to play for their SL team or did our team just decide to bring it after two warmup SL games?

Willie still seems way better suited to play center to me. part of summer league is about working on things that aren't necessarily a strong suit. I want to see them run some pick and pop for him, or anything for him to get some jumpshots up. He will have a hard time playing power forward if he isn't taking some open shots to give cousins space. The jumpshot he showcased in the predraft showed excellent form; I really, really want to see if that same form shows in in a live game.
