So, no love for Quincy Miller? I really think we should give him a chance. He can be a good backup forward. He's 6'10" with a 7'2" wingspan.

Napier couldn't lead a team with Wade and Bosh in it.

I'm not sure he could lead a piss-up in a brewery.

I wonder how hurt our 1st round pick is? Gonna take a break and watch Karl Anthony Towns to see his game for the first time.

Did you watch the game?

He played the last minute or so. I'd guess he isn't hurt as much as aching.

Is there anybody else I'm suppose to be watching besides Towns/Lyle during the Utah/Minny game?

Winslow is playing through some aches that he also suffered in Duke. He is completely capable of playing through it. It's just strange.

Napier did great. We had a big lead. Unfortunately when he went to the bench, no one knew how to run an offense since TJ was out and Winslow was barely playing. Richardson is not a playmaking PG. That is clear as day. Or maybe he needs more experience running at PG? His defense is outstanding.

I don't take much stock into what 2nd year players do in summer league. Napier should be playing good regardless. Same with TJ. Same with Ennis (he's going to be cut at this rate). Same with Zoran.

Richardson is a break in case of emergency PG. His natural position is at the two. He needs to study plenty of D Wade tapes. He has proved to the organization that he can at least dribble the ball up court and take his man off the dribble. That's more then you can say about James Ennis.

There weren't much lowlights from him, if any at all. If he plays like this during the season, yikes. But it's summer league and he's a second year player. I haven't seen anything new or flashes of anything impressive. Take these games with a grain of salt if you aren't already. I only care to watch our rookie.

Nah, he's taking D-leagures and rookies off the dribble. I say he has solid handles at best right now. But he's not finding anyone on anything other than obvious passing angles.

The two things that will translate quickly into the NBA are his shooting and his ridiculous energy and skill on defense. OMG. I want to see what he develops into. I LOVE watching him and Winslow play defense. He needs to play next to Wade or Dragic though. I haven't seen any flashes of his vision like I have seen with Winslow for example.

Solid handles once again is more then you can say about James Ennis. Kid is a nice talent with energy for days and defensive stopper capabilities. We needto keep him around and develop him. And no going to Europe. He needs to be on the roster and developed in our D League. If somebody goes down you do not hesitate to call him up.

If by "killed it" you mean he wasn't the best PG on the court and we lost our first summer league season - yes.

If you mean was utterly fantastic - No.

He was the best he's played in SL so far though and that's a good sign. He did some very good things and some pretty poor things, especially when he went into hold the ball and play iso offense.

I take your point about SL and agree completely.

But there were lowlights.

He didn't pass enough and spent too much time holding the ball and going for the iso charge to the basket which sometimes worked and often didn't. He also had a couple of classic airballs. His defense was better but reaked a little of Rio's Olé defence where he went for steals especially after being blown by.

dude you are insufferable. he was clearly the best PLAYER ON THE FLOOR. jesus christ. napier had problems on defense? well so did freaking mudiay who lost him multiple times. And hey, its just summer league i understand that. But who asks for 'low lights' from the best player on their summer league team? reeks of confirmation bias
