I guess I mean in the half-court setting, he's more comfortable facing the basket. In transition he'll rim run and seal to get opportunities but otherwise, i think he doesn't look to play with his back to the basket.
Yeah you're right there. He's not like (for example because he has some of the best hands I've ever seen) Jahlil who can catch the ball and immediately put up a great shot. He kinda has to gather himself first. But he struggles with that even in fullcourt situations which is what I meant. In one of his games I watched he completely screwed up a good pass on a fastbreak by throwing up some garbage because he didn't have the ball under control.
