I didn't like Alec Brown passing on those open looks Goodwin got him... Instead dribbling in. Dude you are 7'1, you'll get your shot up easily... Needs to commit to the shot if he is hanging aroun up there. I don't want him doing a Morrii impression and dribbling into the defender after getting an open look.

He has low T. A quick 30 minute consultation and he'll be swishing it.

Jazz commentary just saying Porzingis has a better feel for the game than Len was about the funniest thing I've heard all Summer League.

Yup, and now they suggested Warrenis no Draymond Green because of Draymond's offensive advantage due to his playmaking.

Its true tho. Warren is all finesse reliant on his silky smooth floaters/touch around the basket and has limited athleticism/ functional strength and is more in the SF mold of Ceballos/Jamison. Obviously he will never become an elite defender the best w can hope for is that he holds up on the other end so he can stay on the court for extended minutes to contribute his signature buckets

Not really. Draymond's a better passer, but the idea that Warren can't become that type of playmaker is crazy, and despite that Warren's offensive ability is better overall than Draymond already. Draymond's advantage is clearly on defense. For an announcer to say "he's no Draymond" and then follow that up with offensive reasoning is mind-blowing. But then I found out that the announcer is Seth Davis, and the idiocy made sense.

The announcers keep talking about Warren and his mid range game not being suitable to the Rockets, and they probably wouldn't want it. But he is probably just about as good from midrange, or maybe better, than many guys who take it to the rim, so it really doesn't hurt you in that respect.

Booker looked much better today, very fluid, much more comfortable shooting, big step up.

McNeal has played like he's already got a deal in Europe lined up lol.

Great team effort though.

McNeal definitely knows Mike James has outplayed him so he needs to jack shots up.

Mudiay has been excellent. Russell has been a steaming pile - couldn't be happier about that.

For each of these first three games, a different player has been our best player, IMO. Game 1 - Alex, Game 2 - Archie, Game 3 - Devin. TJ's been second best in each: his shot's been short.

Alex is legit, but he's nowhere near ready offensively.

The long basketball slumber looms....
