Blake is a long term NBA rotation player and occasional starter. He's not a guy anyone is going to be excited about, but he isn't garbage.

We have very different definitionstyles of garbage then. Dude has a career average of 6.7 points and 4 assists in 25 minutes per game. That is hot garbage.

Nobody who plays NBA rotation minutes consistently for a decade is "garbage". They just aren't. He's not a good play or even an average player at this point, but It's disrespectful to call a journeyman NBA player "garbage".

Hot garbage to me is reserved for players like Quincy Miller, Tony Mitchell, Hasheem Thabeet, Austin Daye, etc... You know, those scrubs that everyone keeps waiting for(once elite prospects) and hype up, years after it becomes apparent they do not have what it takes to stick on an NBA roster. Kevon Looney, Cliff Alexander, Robert Upshaw are next in line...

Steve Blake has earned the trust of several NBA coaches and started 345 games in his career. That is not garbage.

I guess the only thing that matters to some are the statistics... Steve Blake is a better player right now than John Lucas and Spencer Dinwiddie. Quincy Miller is not a better player than Ersan Ilyasova, Marcus Morris, Stanley Johnson, or Anthony Tolliver... and never will be. He MAY surpass Tolliver someday, if he works his ass off.

.. What's the problem?

I don't give a third of a **** about Quincy Miller. I don't want Steve Blakes weak ass on the team is all I'm saying.

It's definitely off season if we're arguing about a 4th PG that probably never sees the floor if Dinwiddie hasn't regressed or Jennings is good to go. Silliness.

Dinwiddie can shut the door on blake in Training camp. We traded jack sh* for Blake and with 17 players under contract. SVG has shown a knack for making use of unsigned FA's
