I love Karem but how did he do with Bynum? He ended up with his bad attitude... Thats about it. Nash should just go away...

Oram is the Lakers beat writer for the Orange County register. He took over two seasons ago after Kevin ding left to bleacher report

Having Nash and then Kobe teach or young guys the real NBA game is a good thing. They cant get any slower.

Its about time the Lakers started using their resources
and Nash to earn some of the millions he did not get to.

Here is a chance for two up and coming studs to learn to pass the ball and play point.

However, are they going to be playing at the sametime.
Or does Clarkson lead the 2nd unit or Russel lead the 2nd unit.

I think long term it is Russel but maybe in the beginning it could be Clarkson.

Hopefully they both learn to complement rather than if they both try to pass
then who is shooting.

Randle and Kobe will shoot but these two need to but in 12 to 20 points each.

THat's right, I remember that now. Is it just me, or has he been relatively quiet as far as breaking news until the last few months?

we should hire him as a coach to help develop Clarkson and Russell

also if Scott isn't working with those two he is redundant as a coach, basically the best thing about him is the fact that he develops young guards really well (CP3, Irving etc)

Please just stop it.....Stop blaming the Princeton offense for these guys lack of performing better, the offense has NOTHING...NOTHING to do with it.

Pretty much 90% of the league runs pretty generic offenses along with elements of the Princeton, Triangle and Flex. Outside of the Knicks and Lakers who will run their offense exclusively, most teams using elements of the Triangle/Princeton only use the the simplest counters of it. The Spurs run the Princeton at several points in their games, but they have a solid passing big in Duncan.

Guys complaining about the offense is pretty much a weak cop out if they don't understand what they're really looking at anyway. Again guys aren't going to learn the Princeton O in just a week of practice.

Then you must've hated the 2000s, especially the early to mid 2000s. It was nothing but ISO ball then and lots of bricks. Quite possibly the worst time to watch team basketball.

Offensive are far better now than ever. The good offenses have movement all over the floor with feints setting up action elsewhere. The demand for skilled players at each position is more present than ever. It's also nice watching defenses adjust over the years too. Only good teams can have ball movement to the 4th and 5th guy which has always been true since you need the talent to support that.
