Thabeet is a solid defender that average 2.8 blocks per 36 minutes for his career, and to use comparison's sake Biyombo average 2.7 blocks per 36 minutes for his career. Thabeet has only received consistent minutes in two stops throughout his career, and that was his 2009-10 rookie season with the Grizzlies and the 2012-13 season with the Thunder. In his rookie season with Memphis he had the 3rd best defensive rating among rotational players on the team only behind Marc Gasol & DeMarre Carroll while logging approximately 900 minutes in 68 games on the season. In his most recent season in which he received consistent minutes with the Thunder in 2012-13 he had the best defensive rating on the team at 94.7 while playing almost 800 minutes on the season in 66 games

I always thought Thabeet got a raw deal in the league. I don't know what Memphis or any other team was expecting from him besides blocks and rebounds. Because he does those things. Anybody expecting offense out of him should know that's a fireable offense with all the pun intended. He's kinda like Biz where he'll give you good defense but on the other end he's almost useless. I wouldn't mind. He's quite the character too because he think he's a goon. Lol

Hasheem 'Black Jesus' Thabeet is definitely quite the character. Thabeet might be one of the most hood Africans I've seen in the basketball forum. It's entertaining to say the least whether he's staring a opponent down after blocking his shot or saying Swahili mumble jumble to the referees

I've went to a few games when he was with the Grizzlies when they came to Philly and even when he's not blocking shots he's altering shots. As much as "rim protection" has become a hot topic of discussion since the departure of Biyombo toppled by the acquisitions of Hawes and Kaminsky, Thabeet would definitely be the total opposite side of the pendulum in comparison to them

New nominee for the 15th seat:
Micheal Eric, 27 y.o., 6'11, Nigerean, playing for MIL SL, avg 3 blocks/game, had 6 blocks vs. HOU two nights ago.
Was last man cut in camp last fall, due to MIL having 15 guaranteed contracts. Jason Kidd likes him:
Charles F. Gardner: Bucks coach Jason Kidd praised Eric for how hard he worked during training camp: “He’s an NBA player and hopefully he will be in the NBA.” – via Twitter cf_gardner

Shams Charania: The Milwaukee Bucks’ final roster cut, a player they wanted to find room to keep: center Micheal Eric, league sources tell RealGM. – via Twitter ShamsCharania

Reminds me of Jeff Adrien but is 4 inches taller. Live body, long arms, pnr instincts. Can catch the ball.
Rejected Devin Booker(like CHA did in the draft) last night: http://www.nba.com/video/games/suns/2015/07/16/1521500045-mil-phx-play4.nba/
Played last year in Italian A League:

Edit: Eric had 8 pts, 4 blocks and 12 rebounds in his final SL game last night vs. NYK.
