Re: Who's your second favorite NBA team?
I like the bucks. It started because i felt bad for them, but now they have a good core including Monroe, so i'll watch them.
I spent a lot of time with my cousin who is a big bulls fan, so I watched a lot of them over the past few seasons and liked their style of play under thibs. I know that's evil to say around Pistons fans, but what can I say?
I used to watch a lot of Raps games because I live in Toronto, but the bandwagon fans from the past 2 seasons are pretty annoying, so i've definitely watched less of them.

Yeah, I'm usually a fan of players so it's only recently where I've become a fan of the actual team so it's harder for me to feel the team rivalries. I'm a Vikings fan but absolutely love Aaron Rodgers and like watching the packers play which is really weird since most Vikings' fans hate those cheeseheads.
Ya, i think that make me hate the packers even more. The fact that i love both Farve and Rodgers for being such amazing talents and they QB for our #1 rival
I could never root for the Packers or the Bears. Don't mind the Vikings as much, used to love Randy Moss, Daunte Culpepper duo as a kid.

lol, i literally said this to Whitehops in his biography thread

but its funny how we hate chicago and green bay, but feel like the Vikings have been in the struggle together with us. i also feel the same way. To clarify my previous post. i was referring soley to Rodgers and Farve as players

i really wish Bucks didn't trade Knight(moose's best bud). I really think they could have had something special with those 2 going forward and Giannis. I do think that MCW lack of spacing ability is going to hurt moose, but moreso because Giannis isn't much of a floor spacer

Second team is Golden State.
I love me some historic, record-breaking shooting. Hey, who knew epic shooting and epic defense wins championships?

The Spurs are mine. I was a huge fan of Duncan in college and modeled my game after his in high school, loved the Twin Towers when Robinson was there. And they are the model franchise. But I hated them after 05, but got over it when they destroyed Cleveland

I know, that seemed like such a stupid trade to me, but then again, I'm really not a MCW fan.

i'll be curious to see if they can repeat. Prior to this championship no one has ever won living and dying on jump shots as normally fatigue played a major factor. I wonder if they can maintain the same efficiency in their repeat effort

Pistons only. but as a kid, when the Pistons were horrible, I was a fan of the Zo/LJ/Mugsey Hornets squad for the few years they were together.

I think Rice went to the Hornets as part of the Zo to Miami trade, the Hornets did have Stephs daddy on the team during the Zo/LJ era though.

I was a huge fan of the Trail Blazer back when they had Brandon Roy...not so much now, Lillard is good but he's not the natural.
Now it's probably between GS and OKC.

yeah that was a surprise to me because he looked like he had found a good rhythm in Milwaukee. I think he would have been an even better fit now with Monroe going over.

GSW, but only because I live here and it's my local broadcast/discussion.
I'd trade ten Warriors titles for one Pistons title.

Re: Who's your second favorite NBA team?
I was a big Sonics fan as a kid, they were my 1B to the Pistons.
Now my top teams would be:
1. Pistons
2. Whoever is playing the Cavs
3. Whoever is playing the Thunder
4. Whoever is playing the Bulls
5. Whoever is playing the Spurs (still burnt up about 2005)

Re: Who's your second favorite NBA team?
Michigan has been my home pretty much all my life, and the Pistons are the team I root for. I love the game, and enjoy watching the great players do their thing. I enjoy following the careers of former Piston players and tend to root for them except when they play the Pistons.
