The man had a kings Ransom dropped for him, and I would expect when that much is dropped for him that would be for a player looking more than like a okay ' ish bench player. At least a player that looks like they can start for the team and possibly be a all star is what a guy who has had that much sent for him to look like.

He is not portis or snell etc who was selected with 1 pick. So yes more should be expected of him and I don't see anything wrong with that.

The number of the pick/asset's used to get him should be irrelevant. He's a prospect, we work from where we are with him right now.

That is not irrelevant.

1 of the assets we gave up for him was the highly valuable bobcat pick we held onto for years like it was the golden ticket. If he was a project then you let some young team get him and work on him for a few years and we draft someone who can aid us immediately or trade the assets for a guy who can contribute now. Unless your goals are not going for a championship which if we dealing with garpax is very possible

All I'm saying is , everyone is in their right to at least expect the guy to dominate in the freaking summer league.

It is irrelevant. It's not his fault we used 2 firsts and a 2nd to get him, and the way we judge his performance shouldn't be marred by that fact. All you can do is look retrospectively as a FO decision. Doug's job is to be the best player he can be from this point forward regardless of living up to a pick number or expectations.

He absolutely destroyed SL last season. One of the best players in the entire tournament. He then had a red-shirted rookie season. He's struggling this time around because he has no one to play off, he's not getting good looks within the offense, and he's getting shut down trying to make stuff happen off the dribble. So much of it has to do with circumstance. He's passed up some semi open looks which I'd like him to take, but he's a shooter that relies upon the offense providing him with looks, and for the most part he's not getting them in this years SL. It's a testament to his 'supplementary' offensive game that he's still been able to chalk about a couple of 15-20 point games without his 3 point shot.

Anyone else think it's weird to see Cam so much more than Felicio considering the Bulls supposedly signed Felicio?

It's been clear to me throughout all the games so far that Cam's the better player. That doesn't mean I think too highly of his NBA potential, I don't see him having a future in the league as a guy with any real role on a team, but Felicio just doesn't do a whole lot even at the SL level.

That's one way of putting it. Another might be to say he helped the FO get rid of 2 firsts and a 2nd they didn't seem to want very much.

McD needs to pass that out once the guy comes over from the double. Thats why he keeps getting blocked.

Eh, Felicio is the better defender, rebounder and screener. But both will be at training camp anyway and the Bulls can get a real look at them there.

Doug hit a corner 3! yay

Bulls have to hit 3's or we won't win this game, everything at the rim is getting blocked

Apparently LeBron plays in the back-court now.

How in the world is Durant and Westbrook not in that list. Especially if Lebron + Irving are. WTF?
