I'm officially on the De'Aaron Fox bandwagon. I think his skills is going to translate much better than Dennis Smith's in higher competition especially in college and the NBA because of his jumper and range. He has such as silky smooth pull-up jumper in transition stopping on a dime and freezing his defender with that snatchback dribble a la CP3/Dame. Haven't seen much of his ability using ball-screens and attacking out of it, but I would assume it's going to bode well given his pull-up game and killer hezi with proper teaching.

Thoughts on Alterique Gilbert? He's been gaining a lot of popularity lately on the AAU scene. Gonna go through some film of him at Peach Jam.

never heard of the kid but have some Peach Jam on DVR that im gonna check out hopefully he's in there somewhere. I know Azubuike is on there. I wanna see what the skillset looks like, determine whether he's Wack Shaq on this level and Dakari Johnson on the next or if he projects to be more going forward.

Looking forward to that

Ya he's on the same AAU squad as Harry Giles.

Does anyone have full games any of the Adidas Gauntlet tournaments? Want to see Team Loaded. They've got Dennis Smith and Edrice Adebayo on there. Dude is a manchild.

I actually didn't think Gilbert was that good at the Peach Jam. But before then he was nails in pretty much every tournament. He'll be another 3-4 year guard at UConn who gets his chance to come right into the league and contribute. He's still not very big, which limits his draft potential, but with natural improvement, he seems like he'll get his chance.

Been tracking Fultz since December.

Long arms, big hands, good frame, elite change of direction, elite mid range game with potential to extend out to 3, good vertically with combo ability. Just smooth.

Maybe it's because they're lefties but De'Aaron Fox reminds me of DLo a bit. Very crafty finding angles and seams in the defense to attack the basket and something about that pull-up jumper in transition that DLo loves.
