The whole premise of the question is a bogus, you're essentially undermining the work McD and co have done by suggesting this team isn't moving forward. That on its own, is a joke. Experienced execs and GMs simply don't let their teams move backwards or sideways, it doesn't happen......

Furthermore, this 'Ainge method' that many believe McDuh is following has not bore any fruit. How long does it get to go on before fans wonder wtf ? At some point, the act of 'collecting' may hinder the overall rebuild. Boston (as well as Phnx) had better show some progress soon.

Are we assuming McDuh is experienced ? Seems like he has made some sideways blunders last yr that I would attribute to a learning curve.
This team, since the Colonjello days, has been plagued with an inexperienced FO.... D'Ant, Kerr, Sarver himself, Blanks, Babby, and McDuh all had the reigns but had never driven the wagon.

How long does it take? He has been GM for two years and was projected to win 17 after starting to rebuild. Patience, my friend.
And why is she wearing a bikini? I guess so she can look in the mirror every day before her workout and think to herself "This is what I look like in a bikini." If she succeeds though, she's definitely going to need a new one.

My interest will be taxed to watch another yr of hero ball starring Bledsoe, Morris and Tucker.
Some more changes need to be made, or we'll be spinning the wheels of mediocrity again. What good is collecting assets if you do not use them ?
Frank Lee wrote:Thats right.... I don't have to watch. Fans don't have to come to the ballgame. Posters don't have to post.
This FO puts another subpar product out there, they'll lose the town and whatever waning support they have. That doesn't make me a bad fan, nor does your labeling me as a doomer. I'd argue I am much less a doomer than you a starry eyed dreamer. I actually have hope for this yr, as long as we get rid the remaining negative deadweight....

I hope we see enough from 2-3 of our prospects/additions to actually move forward with them as core pieces. As it is, IMO, we have one, maybe two proven players, and a bunch of maybes. And once again, we will forge onward with a chemistry experiment, with fingers crossed and safety glasses on. Sound familiar ?

I think out concerns are a tad bit higher than 75% of the league. You can't conveniently ignore what happened last yr.
Our problems are our problems. Perhaps common amongst the more unsuccessful teams, yet unique to us. They have been identified and discussed. Even mentioned by our front office (i.e., no leadership/vets etc) S**t, by the time its done, we may have had 3 felons playing for us. Thats pretty special.![]()
The last half of last yr was some of the worst Suns Basketball witnessed... so what do we do ? rinse repeat... throw out 6 to 7 guys and bring in new ones ? Is that the recipe for the playoffs ? Especially when you really have not established a solid legitimate core to build around??? Jeezus... our prize acquisition this yr, benched our prize prospect from last yrAbout all we have is hope... hope that we get off this treadmill and make some real progress. The slate looks pretty clean.... again.
Wax on Miyagi... but eventually, you'll have to Wax Off.
