We can't trade Bev till like December? Denver has Muiday as a starter and Jameer Nelson as the veteran backup.

SO what can Rockets offers to Nuggets? because they did not need TJones over there because they have the Manimal

Rockets really can't offer much. Lakers can at least offer Jordan Clarkson.

Get the Bucks involved so Papa and Jones can land there.

not much other than future pick and non-guaranteed contract and some small fillers to match salary

Lawson makes $12.4 so you need to add more than just small fillers to reach even close to that

Assuming Harden, Howard and Ariza are untouchable, the only Rockets that are tradeable right now are: Jones, Motiejunas, Capella, Johnson, Dorsey, Papanik, Prigioni. So really the only way to get close to matching without involving a 3rd team is by including either Jones or DMo.

Papa+Prig = 6.5M non-guaranteed contract
add in Jones 2.5M and Dorsey 1M just enough to match Lawson contract

So Jones is considered a small filler?

How about Papa to Philly for Isaiah Canaan? They signed Scottie Wilbekin to a 4 year rookie deal and have Tony Wroten as their starting PG. Canaan played well for us when Bev was out and he would be familiar with the offense. Canaan's not a superstar but we are overloaded at SF with Ariza, Brewer, Dekker and McDaniels and we need PG help. This would also give us an almost 4 million trade exception.

Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?

Maybe Broncos can give us Peyton Manning too.

Alan Williams may not sign here
he rather join a team where he has a higher chance making the team

Looks like the return of Hayes. Good vet leadership for all of the Rockets young bigs. Whats the hold up with Terry's min. contact? Maybe he's getting more then min.$ . If so i think its for trade purposes.

maybe he wants more than the veteran minimum
Morey will use part of MLE for Harrell contract
and we are in luxury tax zone so if Terry is asking too much he's gone

Cavs don't have room to sign their draft picks so if we want Rakeem Christmas (36th overall pick) for free we can use that 15th roster spot on him instead of Hayes. I still want Randolph Morris though.

we already have 4 young players to develop (Capela, McDaniels, Dekker, Harrell)
i'm afraid we don't have room for Christmas

We need someone like Hayes he would be a good locker room prescense we don't need another youngin...between Dwight Lawson and harden we need a solid leader

And no it's not just because he's one of my favorite rockets ever :D

If he becomes a star then morey could be known as The grinch who stole Christmas.

Trade dead line...

Melo & Lopez
for
Howard & Jones

Would the NYK say yes?

It would be a Rocket team for the ages on paper.

Howard & Melo both aged and beat up superstars

Jones and Lopez starting rotation players. Jones seems like a good fit with a PJ team. Lopez is not as good as Howard but is better than average with a well rounded game.

Melo would not have to carry the team and hopefully play like he does on team USA.

Return to Houston Rockets
