Rockets get Lawson for scraps and resign Kj McDaniels to a ridiculously bargain contract. Meanwhile we trade a lottery pick for a decrepit Steve Nash :banghead:

Dodged a bullet in my opinion!

I'm guessing that we're talking about one of the two (Nance or Brown), Black, Young, and some other scraps (maybe Kelly/Sacre). We don't really have that many assets, although that would be quite the cluster **** of guards.

someone posted on FB that Den wanted Clarkson and we said no.

Which is what we should've said, it seems now that the only way teams want to deal with us is if we cave and give up an asset we've put time in such as JC. Not saying JC is not tradeable, but trading him for guys that are not even all star talent makes no sense.

Ran the trade checker for the hell of it, and this trade doesn't work unless it's something else going on we don't know about.

Email this to the NBA office. They have to reject this trade now. :D

it works just fine

Papanikolaou $4,851,769
Prigioni $1,734,572
Dorsey $1,015,421
Johnson $845,059

total: $8,446,821 X 150% + 100,000 = $12,770,342.50

Ty Lawson's Salary: $12,404,495

12,770,342.50 > $12,404,495

it looks like the trade checker is erroneously using the tax payer 125% rule for houston rather than the 150% rule. I think it's cause it's using the projected cap and lux tax rather than the real one that came in a few mil higher. That few mil results in the non tax paying rule being applied to Houston rather than the tax team rule.

Yeah that's what happened, I forgot about the new rule...cause I was just looking at the numbers in a mathematical view. Thanks for the clarification.

I think we should file a complaint against the NBA and all the other teams. That they are collision against making any trades or free agents signing here. D. Stern still has orders in for all owners to not trade with us. F every team in the nba they can rott in h. All agents have been told to use la as leverage to get more money not sign here, Sterns orders
