Did I post a picture of me in the 2rd grade of me in a Cubs jersey, and agian in 2005 with a sox cap?
I've always like the Sox since I found out what baseball was.
I always got sox tickets from the guy that my dad bought windows off, and yeah it was hardly ever a sell out, but how gives a ****?
If your worried about being a fan of the more popular team, your about as bad as a fairweather fan.
And if I was fairweather, why am I still standing up for the sox?
And Like I said before I'm also a Yankee fan, now if I was a fair weatherfan why ain't I at there board blowing a-rod?
You know what happens when you assume.
Ozzie is the goat.

blahblahblah.
I care about Sox fans about as much as I care about the Sox.
Sox will always play second fiddle to the Cubs. Nobody in the city cares that the Sox won the World Series, but it'll be like the second coming of Jesus Christ when the Cubs win it.
ps. you're "defending" your team because the Sox board is about as dead as their fairweather-ass fanbase.

Hey what about Sammy Sosa...
Old guy past his prime... check
Once an all star but barely half of what he was... check
Could be injured at any time... check
Puts people in the seats without any concern of winning... check
Recently doing well but no promises in the near future... check
Once a Cub but would be welcomed back... oh wrong guy
Anyways theres enough here to tell me Sammy Sosa might be our guy.

Deal For Jones Could Be Close For Cubs

Indications are the Cubs will step up their efforts to make another trade of a position player before Monday, when they plan to add a 12th pitcher to the staff.
That likely would mean moving Jacque Jones, who has gone from the Cubs' Opening Day starter in right field to essentially the Cubs' fifth outfielder. According to baseball sources, the Padres, Rangers and even the White Sox have shown recent interest in Jones, who has been shopped again by the Cubs in recent weeks.
Cubs GM Jim Hendry didn't rule out a trade as a way of making room for the imminent addition of a pitcher when the Cubs return to National League play Monday at home against Colorado.

Agreed. I can't wait til they get rid of him. Remember when he called Cubs fans racists? What a joke that dude is.
I don't think Cubs will be in the market to get a guy like Griffey with so much money due to him over the next two seasons, because our team is still for sale and we are far out of a playoff spot.
Huge weekend is upcoming, hopefully Cubs arms are awesome this week and we go into the weekend vs. Milwaukee red-hot. In a week from tonight, we might be in a MUCH MUCH MUCH different position... for good or for bad.
