We could run that one up to a 14-16 teamer league if enough guys sign up. Who's with me?!?!

I feel like the same people from this league are going to join the new league, and they're ultimately going to lose interest for this league (especially the guys at the bottom). I'd much rather have one league where everyone is fully invested.

I'd much rather expand this league using the FA pool than create another league. It wouldn't be Award Winning.

For the record, I personally would be ok with **** players if an expansion happened.

Otherwise I wouldn't want any special provisions made unless 100% of the existing GMs were happy with the terms because it's ya'll league.

I feel there isn't enough FAs for expansion. I agree with do that you would have to save 8- 10 players and the others would go to fa. IL included. You could also throw in a #1 pick for them.

FAs for the expansion team would be really weak. Protecting 8-10 and leaving 7 per team available would be the way to go but:

7 players x 12 teams = 84 quality players for 2 expansion teams

That's helluva lot of talent for two teams though. What happens then? Those unclaimed goes back to their former teams?

Cant you also reduce the amount of players each person can have? You might as well.

We would also want some sort of commitment and no more Mirjs. One Hinkie is enough in a league.

Okay well...The two leagues thing was just an idea for the sake of Marionette or any other potential owner we bring in.

Because I can tell you right now with 100% certainty that any expansion teams we add will be complete trash for years to come. They'll be worse off then Mirj and probably Ro.

No one wants another Hinkie but that's what a new owner would be forced into. They'll have no talent to compete with against the already established teams.

I can assemble a team from current FA that would be competitive right away.

Whoa let's do that while we wait for the season. Let's build teams then have the new GMs pick which one they'll take.

For it to have any meaning though, you'd have to give away the players on your radar.

 Even JR got jilted off Ty's waiver wire trash brigade...

If I had any doubts on whether choosing to dump him was a hasty move, they're now dead.
