I think since expectations for Hibbert are reasonable and there won't be so much pressure on him, he is going to surpass expectations. If he can produce 15 and 10 that would be perfect.

I think it would say something about our coaching if we tried to hedge and recover to defend the PnR with Hibbert. However, B.Scott is the type to force his "ideal" style on every team and watch it fail before he will make changes. We tried it early last year with Hill and it was a disaster.

i think 14-7 with 2 bpg will be solid production and also 40-43 opponent FG% at the rim

15 and 10 is not reasonable for a player who has never reached those numbers ever and isn't a high minute type. There's realistically surpassing expectations. Then there's the 15 and 10 you put up which would be a miracle.

Conference went pretty much as I expected, only curveball was that Hibbert basically said he knew he was going to be traded at the end of the season. I understand the business aspect of the NBA, but that's still icy.

he said he knew he was going to get traded but still didnt know where. with how the situation was there, i dont think anybody is surprised. nothing out of the ordinary really

anyways. they all seem to have a geniune want to be a Laker... especially brandon lol. the other 2 i cant really tell 100% yet but having them aboard long term and especially if they pan out would help us get back to contention.

really though im just excited to have real talent and hard working players on the team in place of 1 year rental busts. excited to see a new culture growing...all of the guys are hungry and willing to put the work in. now if only they can rub off on nick...

I hope Roy can turn around our whole Defense ethic. I do think Scotts whole D philosophy is to find guys who want to play D... without him having to actually teach them to play it or ask them to.
