I just wanna give a shout out to Phano for not accepting that Ellis-Jefferson deal. Without it I'd have never ended up with Chris Paul and Marc.

Doesn't matter

Julius Randle is like Odom/Malone/LeBron James hybrid.. too fast, too strong, too skilled.

He is strong, can finish through contact, great rebounder , can out pace any PF not named LeBron James, push Draymond/Koufos body like its nothing, has quickest first step among quick PF in the L, can shoot, and athletic.

and led a team to NCAA championship game as a freshman.

Ok being optimistic is one thing. Mirj is like a groupie to a rockstar, a stalker to a hot chick/stud, etc.

Please tell me you don't have a poster of Randle on your ceiling.

Ages of all teams

Tugs is no longer the oldest team, and I am no longer the youngest team. The new youngest team should be easy to guess, but can you guess who the new oldest team is?

Spoiler:

Notes:
-The Power Rankings are from TyCobb's earlier post.
-Going with the line of thinking that if your team is older, you should probably be in position to win now given that your team might decline soon, I subtracted your age rank from your power rank. As you can see, TyCobb is in some deep doodoo.
-Turner, Warren and Clarkson prevent Tugs from being our village elder. Mirja managed to get even younger through you know how.
-Since I was sorting data from last year via basketball reference, I had to manually input the ages of players who didn't do anything last year. I ended up inputting about half of Mirja's roster for him.
-The ages are for 2015 minus birth year again.
-Ages are averages, not totals for those who haven't figure it out.
-Lmao imagine what'll happen to TyCobb's age once he dumps Embiid for a plug and play vet

But wait, it gets better. The last time I did this, I talked about how a lot of teams actually have young - in their prime cores, with replaceable late round vets. Well, when you isolate the ages of the top 3 players on each roster based on last season's performance, you get:

Spoiler:

Notes:
-Power rankings are once again TyCobb's
-Player rankings from last year are basketball monster's
-Core Average value is the average rank of your top 3 players. For example, Ak's top 3 players Durant, Horford and Teague were ranked 5, 17, 29 respectively, thus his average value is 17. Needless to say, the smaller your average value, the better.
-While Ro's core is very young, his top 3 players based on last season's performance are worse than Mirja's...
-At first glance, it would seem as if the end was near for Jeet. In reality, Hayward, Bledsoe, Beal etc. are ready to step up for the future.
-Wavy is ridiculously well off, with Lillard and Jimmy G Buckets in his top 3, as well as Favors and Harris on the rise. If you ever want to tax the rich and give back to the poor (Mirja), you know where to look.
-If you think rookie X is one of your top 3 players, well too bad. He didn't play last year.

I didn't take into account punt strategies, so maybe Ro's players rise in rankings with ft out of the way. These rankings are not perfect.

Wait what is the rationale for subtracting the age rank from power rank? What's the last column supposed to indicate?

If you're young and you suck right now, you might be well set up for the future at least. If you're old and you suck... but I thought I explained that in the notes

So are you going to start hoarding draft picks Roballer style to get a more balanced roster
