on a side note, what the h%^& was Aaron Doornekamp doing out there?!

guarding Damien Wilkins, Doornekamp is physical and borderline dirty and I thought he did a good job at keeping Wilkins in check

Where are all the posters claiming Murray wouldn't get any playing time?

For those whining about Doornekamp, who do you play instead?

Thats the crazy thing he has so much scoring ability as is. And he has plenty of room for improvement. I don't know if he will ever be a star in the NBA but hes going to be a very good player for a long time. He has that abillity though.

One thing I know for sure that shows he has the potential to be big is his confidence and strive to win all his points came in the 4th quarter and overtime.

I haven't seen Brazil yet - but Bennett, Murray, and Nicholson have been the 3 best players I've seen so far in this tournament. Even though that was USA's Z team - that was a very sweet win. Some wild play and youthful mistakes from Murray at times - but incredible plays and a sense of the moment as well.

Congrats to Team Canada for the win. The Olympics should be fun in 2016 and 2020. Hopefully some of these guys will play for the Raptors one day.

Same Brazil who could barely beat the Dominican?

Well, Canada barely squeaked out a win against USAB's D level squad so I guess you can say it's a draw since Brazil had a sizeable lead on them last night. But my observation is mainly based on Brazil's offensive play and with Canada's leaky defense (helping off corner shooters and iffy PnR defense at the point of attacking going under) I don't seem to like our chances with their strong guard play.

True, but there's a decent chance Canada wins going away without some fluky 3 point shooting from the US. Canada's offensive execution was generally pretty good as well.

Saying no way Canada wins is a gross exaggeration IMO.

Murray has something very special about him that I don't think Wiggins has.

Jesus, 68 clips to edit to make this highlight reel...... processing now, damn Murray and his clutchness lmao!

And that was definitely a travel.... damn. But oh well :P

Wiggins will get there, Murray just has great BB IQ and court vision already naturally. But Wiggins will improve with more PT, plus he's playing against NBA talent already.

I absolutely love Murray though, outside of some turnovers that could only be credited to a lack of experience that will come soon, watching his calm and collected and deliberate decisions in his game is awe-inspiring. So much control and another level of court vision to go with it.

I can't imagine what Steve Nash is thinking now to have a prodigy like Murray right as he can dedicate more time to Team Canada basketball. Perfect timing for the young kid and the Hall of Famer...

Can't wait to see what this kid does!
