Yeah this is our area of major emphasis. Currently we look like this...

C : Sacre, Upshaw, Hill ( by 29th his option will be dropped)

PF: Randle, Black , Nance,

I love our 4 depth, it's young and provides different play styles from all three. Julius is the most versatile, Tarik provides bulk/rugged play and Larry is an athletic energy guy. We've never had this from our 4 before.

Center is our weakest spot and all of us here know it , but I think we'll get something done. Also people shouldn't be so quick to think Hill is completely gone, last summer we gave him the deal we did a more of a favor more than anything and because quite frankly we had the extra money to pay him like that.

Hill has said he want's to stay, it's just now he has to agree to our terms. If he stays and we minimize his role then he's a great pick up.

Not that he isn't ultimately forgettable, but you forgot Kelly.
I'm over the Kelly experiment, he had ample chances to so something.

Honestly I hope either nance or brown gets in the starting lineup.

Brown just looks like the perfect 3 d guy. Good outside shooting, athletic , long and can play his role defensively well and can cover kobe's man if needed.

We already have effectively 2 rookies starting in Randle and Russell. As long as Brown and/or Nance are in the rotation, ill be good. Looks like we really like him though... signed for 3 years.

I think its much easier to come into the league and develop a shot than it is to put it all together defensively. Don't think the Lakers would be investing this much into him if they didn't see potential for him to be a vital player for us down the line though.

Pretty strong statement in guaranteeing his contract, wish they'd have done the same and offered 3 years to Clarkson and Black.

This guy shoots everytime Russell passes the ball to him..

THere can be 20 seconds in the shot clock or 2 seconds, he still shoots.

Are you sure you're talking about the right guy? He made 3 attempts today and 3 attempts the last game.

Since you mentioned you watched only the first half and went to the gym, maybe you're talking about Jabari? A. Brown barely attempted any in the first half.

His footwork on defense is tremendous.

If he can come out and give that effort every night, we might have something here.

I like this guy. Can be another Ariza, has the length and quickness like Trevor. Hope he develops his outside shooting....

Lakers did a great job with this year's draft. Can't wait for these guys to relax and start playing with the veterans. Exciting Lakers basketball ahead !!

I don't think his shooting is gonna be a problem because that's his best asset. Reports on his defense are conflicting though. Draft express has defense as his weakness although he claims he's a 3&D guy.

Wesley has more talent and sometimes show flashes of brilliance in like once every 5 games or so, but he is dumb, great shooter but sometimes his shots really flat, and can't dribble.

Anthony Brown looks play within himself and probably will be more consistent to be our Danny Green.

I'm excited to see how our rookies look at the start of training camp. I hope they're living in the weight room with our trainers right now. Summer league was a rude awakening for our rookies.

yeah i agree. i think wes is just mentally weak. he clearly has the athleticism and the ability. maybe lacking a whole lot of confidence. if anthony brown can be ala danny green id be ecstatic lol.
