Oh cool. Actually a pretty good card with something for everyone on it. The main event contains two very high level athletes. Otherwise just littered with fun to watch fighters down the entire card, hard to see this one not being a good one.

I love the top 9 fights on this card. Hell even the others I'm sure are fine, just fightpass fights. Even one of the fightpass fights should be fun: Cruickshank/Krause.

woah. great card. like redd said, depth through the prelims into the pre prelims.

barboza, wineland, miller are all guys I have maybe overrated in the past. ..guys w some underwhelming results that I don't quite understand. And I love lawlor.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Did you guys see Barboza at the weigh-ins? I honestly don't know if I've ever seen someone with their face so sunken like that. Not to mention the 10 pack, that dude is so drawn out to make this weight.

This sucks. I am most likely going to possibly have to miss this card. Ugh :(

Have a bbq potlucky bday party to attend starting at 5pm eastern...Then possibly another social function later on.

I *may* try to *persuade* the peeps at the bbq potluck bday party to possibly consider watching it..><

Anyways, yeah looks like an super awesome, exciting, interesting card that *should* be entertaining!

Anyone betting or have picks? Just eyeing up some odds, in terms of underdogs I think Caraway has a good shot, Castillo/Miller is a tossup, and there may be some value on Barao actually.

Alright boys, settled in to watch some fights. Surprised to see Meisha in Caraway's corner since she's fighting soon.

Eddie Wineland is a tough dude, but if he was half as mean in the cage as his glare is, dude would be the GOAT. He is movign around a ton but not really landing, I honestly think Caraway outstruck him in that round, both volume and power shots, he's finding a home for that left. That said, Wineland has been great at using underhooks to prevent BC's takedowns.

LOL not a fan of Tom Lawlor but I just saw his weigh-in yesterday when he wore like 5 layers of reebok gear, pretty hilarious. I can't see any way that dude doesn't get smashed tonight though, hasn't fought in what? 2.5 years? and he came in at 203 lbs?

edit: LOL at me. I forgot that Villante sets records for being punched in the face. Lawlor is still powerful at lhw.

This Ben Saunders fight is insanity. These dudes beating the hell out of eachother. Ben is a blackbelt so I'm sure he knows what he's doing, but it seems like he has an armbar right there from this rubber guard position. The right arm. Curious as to why it wouldn't work, I'm assuming he would do it if it would. I could also hear someone in the corner yelling to take his right arm several times.

BTW I have no clue at all how you score that one. Wow.

I really appreciate how Jim Miller always goes for it. But man you just don't really submit Castillo (or any of the veteran alpha male guys really). Him consistently escaping Tony's darces are good evidence of that. So Miller getting so high on back control is a really risky move.

Surprised to see Ludwig in Castillo's corner btw. Wasn't he criticizing that team earlier this week? I thought he was saying something about how none of them know how to be a champion or something (which is ironic tbh, because IDK if there exists a Team Alpha Male fighter in a major organization who isn't much better than Ludwig ever was.)

turned that lawlor fight off because of the Noz commercial and fact it didn't look like it should have been sanctioned. tuned in to see his post fight. woah. way to go Tom. courage to get in there.

had he been critical of the ufc and given an unwinnable fight?

LOL, Lauzon just stopped beating on Gomi after awhile, walks away without good old Herb even waving it off. Pretty sure Gomi went unconscious twice.

For those keeping score, Herb Dean still sucks and has for years. He basically just shook Gomi awake and asked if he wanted to keep fighting lol.

Big fan of Tom Lawlor just for being outspoken about all of this garbage. Dude's done everything he can to be relevant despite his lack of elite skills.

Felder/Barboza was awesome.

Lightweight is such a freaking shark tank. I love how neither of those guys is at the top of the division.

Yves Lavigne stands up a fight from back control.

Just outlaw grappling already so I can just cut ties and start watching glory, seriously.
