Why? He did nothing in his 1 year here.

Seems like the "real basketball heads" agreed with those of us that thought he'd be better off elsewhere.

I'm sad too. I have that terrible feeling that we will regret this decision (in game terms). Shabazz is gonna go off on us and we deserve it.

Come on!

We have too many people on the roster, we need to cut some of the chaff (and hopefully we've still got another upgrade or two to come). At least we get a future 2nd for him - which is what he's worth.

That is your opinion, which I disagree with. If we were going to divest ourselves of Napier, we should have at least used him in a trade. I really don't understand how you come off with so much arrogance. Napier's first year wasn't good, but that doesn't mean he has no potential. There are plenty of first round picks (picked even higher) that made a worse impression in the NBA and many of them stayed in the D-League.

Your arrogance is just as bad.

Every rookie has potential.

Napier was picked earlier than he should have been because Lebron wanted to wreck our chances. He had plenty of chances to impress last season and aside from a a 3 game run he was no more than you'd expect from a 2nd round pick. He's small and bonces the ball into the ground and can't play D. He'll probably bounce around a few teams for 2 or 3 years and then disappear.

Obviously the Heat FO thought that - I guess they are arrogant too.

Obviously every other NBA team thinks that as the best we could get is a PROTECTED 2nd rounder.

Le'ts face it he wasn't as good as PatBev who got away when we were going for victories and he actually showed that his not as good as Cole and Rio who may be out of here too.

Move on, stop trying to make out you're a better person than me, you're crying over a 3rdstring/Dleague PG.
