Kieff, Tucker, Cavs 1 for Gasol, Caboclo (old and young)
Ross, Noguiera, Caboclo for Kieff, Barstow
Pau, Bairstow for Tucker, Ross, Nogueira, Cavs #1
That was the deal. CHI gets more athletic and deeper at their biggest position of weakness while pulling from their deepest position to pay for it and stockpiling prospects for the future. TOR trades prospects for better shooting/ scoring on the front line. PHX gets a vet that meets a need on multiple levels and is content with the strength of the remaining youth on the bench.
So we trade two starters for one old? I'm still not sure why so many want to get rid of one of our best defenders for scraps.

And we include a pick?
I'm glad our FO isn't entertaining this.
Come in now, be sensible about this. I'm glad the FO isn't entertaining your posts either......
You have to pay to play. We also save $4 mil/ yr. giving us additional flexibility and we get Bruno Caboclo, a nice young prospect that will grow with the core.
You are way too focused on age in your analysis, and not focused enough on winning, or building a winning culture, in my opinion. Kieff is best as a sixth man on a good team. He would be a very good sixth man, so yes I would entertain trading him and Tucker along with a late 1st to grab a championship proven older veteran starter, knowing we have additional other young players that are growing and can learn from the good vets...especially when said vets are on a good deal for two years.
