Cho drafted Elliot first round #22 when at POR.

I'd rather have him than whichever Harrison we have.

I don't really have a preference. One is 20, the other is 26, neither is really a true PG. EWill skipped the combine so not sure how they compare reach or wingspan wise.

I was told Hornets like Williams, but see him as insurance, should anything else (as in a trade) happens.

So either we keep him or we don't keep him.

That's a good point. He might be high on Elliot Williams.

Yeah, we were up to 8 guards (counting Batum), so it seems odd we'd bring in a 9th on a tryout basis when there's obviously no room on the depth chart. Methinks that Harrison and Williams are here to compete with Roberts for the 3rd PG role, though they could also unseat Hairston or Daniels at the 2.

Harrison is particularly intriguing as a cheap, developmental PG on a 2-year deal (and then a RFA) vs. Roberts, who will only play in blowout/emergency situations and then walk while costing 5x as much.

Obviously 1 player has to go, but I think at least 2 guys currently on the roster will be cut or moved.

For those curious about rules regarding roster spaces and training camp invites:

NBA teams can invite as many as 20 players to training camp, but are allowed just 15 roster spots—only 13 can be active—during the the regular season.

Yes. Trades are among us.

It seems like everyone assumes Kemba wouldn't be traded. If Cho has shown anything recently it's that he'll look for upgrades if the opportunity presents itself.

I've been impressed with Cho this summer. Doubtful Williams or Harrison play meaningful minutes but Cho is trying to get length at each perimeter position to go small and switch on defense. Batum, Williams ,Harrison, Lamb, added to PJ and MKG. Add in shooting of Kaminsky and it couldn't be any more obvious Cho is using the Golden State model if he told us himself (which he has)

I don't think the reason we all assume Kemba won't be traded is primarily because we think our FO wouldn't do it; it's because his value is at an all time low since he's just starting his extension and is coming off the worst season of his career.
