What should worry Hornet fans is the fact that Rich Cho is the guy that overpaid Batum in the first place.

Cho was fired well before that in 2011. Neil Olshey had just taken the reigns of the GM job in Portland in the summer of 2012 when he matched the offer by Minnesota.

My bad! I should have remembered that because I was surprised when they fired Cho but absolutely disappointed when they matched Batums offer sheet. Apparently they believed potential was worth $11.5M.

Lol of course he's gonna deny it man. It would be stupid of him to even remotely achknowledge it as true and alienate himself from the fanbase.
