Seriously, Jays... Stop it. You're not making the playoffs.

Oh, and reports on the CarGo/Mets deal are saying now that it wasn't problems with his hip (and Scott Boras is making that abundantly clear), that it was that the Mets wanted money and the Brewers wouldn't oblige.

7 games out on July 30th and they're out?

It's the Jays. They always find a way to barely break .500.

you're comfortable dealing Alex Wood?
No. The Braves got fleeced. There have been concerns about Wood's pitching style and the fact that he's lost some velocity in the last year, but that's no reason to completely give up on him.

Add this guy to the list of embarrassing Fenway fans. Sums up the season well though.

Mella and Duvall was an overpay, would have rather had Kazmir but they had to pay the price for another starter

giants can afford to be in trouble for like two decades, no rush to win another title

2.50 ERA away from Reds ballpark, he'll be fine. Look at what going to SF did to Peavy's career

Re: 2015 MLB Regular Season Thread
I don't see it as a big overpay, just slight. Figured it would take a prospect like Mella as the centerpiece but kinda feared that the Giants would throw in someone higher rated than Duvall. Duvall screams "AAAA" player for me, doesn't seem to have the tools to be an everyday player but in Cincinnati, he's got enough pop to be a potential factor off the bench there.

We call him Jasmine Peavy in LA (not really)
He certainly went along for a Magic Carpet ride last postseason.
WS ERA: 12.79

yea…probably not.
act like setting the record for 3 of the worst watched WSs ever and the least viewed Game 7 in history has put your franchise in a position to stop caring about winning brehs
