Not even close, I've said it before but the closest I can think of is Common v Cube and it still pales in comparison to that beef. If Meek doesn't save face soon this could be more Benzino v Em although Nail in the Coffin is an all time great diss track period.

i went into this thing thinking neither could lose in terms of fanbase if they traded tracks back and forth but Meek's silence has me thinking he may have buried himself and his career already.

Nobody is really taking any excuses for NO drops so far. Tour is no excuse, im sure there's a studio somewhere and if he can get on Tumblr and clown then he can put something together just to hold folks over if nothing else.

I've heard the theory that Nas didn't respond to Jay for months and when he finally did it was epic so there's that but i'm thinking different era and different outlook. Social media means the world needs immediate gratification more than ever. Since this dude has been on twitter to respond and post on his timeline yet NO BARS. been on stages to perform records, yet NO BARS directed at Drake it makes it worse. I'd respect it more if dude was nowhere to be found then responded. He's in too much light to not say anything though and the people want it.

I wonder what the perception in Philly is about Meek right now.

It's BAD. I don't understand why he would attack Drake without having some ammo prepared even beforehand. Meek called Drake out, has the battling history, is the street rapper, has the girl...and this dude is taking THIS long to get something out...it needs to be Hit Em Up level, Ether level or worse and it still might be too late. If nobody cares to listen to it, Meek still loses.

EXACTLY

even if he assumed Drake wouldn't say anything back at least have something ready just in case. That's just common sense (no pun intended) in a situation like this. KRS has been quoted as saying he's had a diss record for every rapper since like 90. To keep it more recent Budden said on a recent podcast that he already had about 70 bars ready JUST IN CASE MEEK SAID SOMETHING. That's just the way you handle these things man. No way you make a claim that major about a CLEARLY talented dude like that and not expects something in return.

I mean Souljaboy stood up for himself. Benzino had a squad on deck for Em. These dudes had no business being on tracks throwing shots. Meek has NO excuse.

They gave him the Undertaker theme and he put this trash on it? Where's the bars? Where's the nice punchlines? Where's the funny lines? The best part is the running through the 6 part and the reference track is out he just did the chorus...

Meek isn't a good MC. Don't know what people expected

He has to have more. Drake really did body this dude. Like I can't see it cutting off after the 50 Cent Ja Rule line right. There's no way that's all he's got. Drake doesn't even have to put a track out but he should just to completely murk this dude.

Like I've said Drake is going to win off of straight smarts. Meek has no idea what he's doing. Every move he made was wrong. Drake had 3 Tracks done by the weekend as soon as he read the tweets. He's probably updating that 3rd track as we speak to bury this dude. Meek should just take the L and stop. It's only going to get worse at this point. He's supposed to be reppin street dudes in this and he's doing a horrible job.

First of all, its bad enough dudes beefing on social media. Takes the dude forever to respond,... and he comes with a promo joint.

News flash. You not selling these records. You putting them on the internet for free. Whats with the promo? What are you building up? Neither dude is that nice nor getting paid off these free tracks. You really going to do a promo track to a diss track you obviously dont have, for a beef you you started and now have no chance of finishing?

First meek mill song I ever heard is a promo. lol. Im through.

This guy Meek got Flex to take down the other reference tracks because they're only hooks no verses. What a clown.

song was major trash smh. But what he did expose is that Drake is a fraud on the mic with alot of his recent hits. There are to many reference tracks with a dude calling himself king.

As j4remi and Marcus said, how do you go into this without being prepared? If you're Meek, you can take all the damn time you want to prepare before accusing Drake of having a ghostwriter. But, no, he chose to open his mouth and take days to drop this weak **** in response to Drake's diss records. Whata ****' joke.
