Fox Sports has announced that they'll broadcast 58 games on FOX Sports 1, 60 games on FOX Sports 2, and 105 on Fox Deportes in spanish.

They will also stream every other match on FOX Soccer 2GO and will show the season opener of Bayern Munich vs Hamburger SV(August 14th, 2:30 pm ET) FOR FREE ON YOUTUBE!

If you scroll down the link I've posted you can also find the schedule of games being broadcasted.
I will also put this link in the first post so people can find it easier later on.

Also, if you want more information on the Bundesliga be sure to check out Bundesliga.com

This is a very good start, for the first season. A game or two on FS1 every week was exactly what I was hoping for . Hopefully the ratings are good enough to justify more exposure on FS1 and even big Fox in the coming years.

Lack of class from Rudi Völler. Called the most famous German sports TV host an alcoholic many years on national TV ago, now he slags off Marcell Jansen and basically calls him a quitter.

I'm already preparing myself for the game or two on FS1 to get dropped by the winterbreak. "EPL is the greatest" and all that jazz.

Not sure if that's true, but it's pretty clear that the Bundesliga is much more important to you than the Superliga. Though that's probably just because Gala has a monopoly on the Superliga and the level of play is so terribad...

Union Berlin plays in 2nd Bundesliga. Its called Bundesliga, too, you know? So he is completely right in this thread.

You meanwhile support a team from the Süper Lig so go find someone who wants to discuss with you there or step down your troll level and discuss seriously.

Eh...
What kind of an "argument" should that be?
I mean, you certainly aren't trying to provoke a reaction or, even worse, are trolling, right?

Anyways, the game was solid and a good watch even though it's just a glorified friendly game.
I also agree with outsourcing that game to the US, Asia or even Australia, cause that could help open up those markets for the league.

BTW: It seems like Favre will go young at the cb positions for Gladbach, at least to start the season, with Stranzl out(again), Dominguez not at 100% and with Brouwers having a mediocre preseason.
Yesterday we won 1-0 at Newcastle during our final preseason game and just like he did in that friendly against Porto, he was playing Andreas Christensen(19) and Marvin Schulz(20) at centre back.
Also, he started the game with Mahmoud Dahoud next to Xhaka and had Lars Stindl + Raffael as "strikers".

Though, with Drmic being subbed in later the team was better going forward and Thorgan Hazard scored the winning goal, coming back from a foot injury. Also, Newcastle hit the bar twice and the win was a bit lucky.

Will this be the year Dahoud finally gets minutes? He has been around for years but never got an opportunity in the Bundesliga.

I feel like he should go to a 2nd Bundesliga team on loan to play as much as possible. Or do a Yunus Malli.

I think he should get some minutes with Kramer gone.
Stindl can also play a more offensive role, Nordtveit isn't at Kramers level and with all those games Favre will certainly rotate again.

I watched him yesterday and it's just a joy with the way he's handling the ball, his first touch and passing.
Though, if he does not get enough PT I wouldn't mind a loan to a 2nd division team for the second half of the season.

BTW: I can't see him doing a Malli and I'm pretty sure his management won't demand him never playing for the under 23 team and always being part of the first team to sign a contract.

It's clear that English is not a language you are very proficient in; so maybe you should learn what words like "irony" mean before styling yourself as clever while bandying them about. Until then you can discuss your retirement league in your native tongue in its dedicated thread with your little sidekick. Perhaps there your reading comprehension won't so...**** terrible?

Thank god it's still only preseason. Not that I care that much about winning Supercup or not but Bayern didn't look convincing at all. They were not at one point able to get control of the game. Douglas Costa was more or less the only bright spot and is exactly what this team has needed for years now. Another pacey player with dribbling skills who is able to backup both wing positions without the need to completely change the gameplan which heavily relies on Ribery and Robben's ability to beat their defenders 1 on 1 and create chances.

Nevertheless it was fun to watch because both teams had several chances.

I have to both agree and disagree on this topic.
First of all, it's Jansen's decision and I have much respect for leaving millions on the table.
But on the other hand, it's a fair point to question his love for the game. I mean this guy was once thought of being heavily talented and keeping in mind the lack of good fullbacks in Germany, it's disappointing that he has never reached his full potential and now even retires where he should normally be at his peak and a constant starter for the national team. I truly believe that he has had all the tools to become one of the better left fullbacks. Living in Hamburg is of course enjoyable but maybe having a fresh start somewhere else would have been exactly what he needed. Especially considering all the trouble going on in Hamburg during the last years.

I haven't seen you guys much this summer, but I've heard a lot of things that have me excited to see what Favre does with you this season;

-Dahoud and Sow shining is fantastic. I don't rate Nordveit as more than a late game destroyer when you have to sit on a lead, but those two kids have some serious talent.

-With Xhaka & Stindl, Dahoud & Sow, Nordveit, possibly Elvedi/Christensen/Schulz pushing up into midfield, and maybe Hazard dropping deeper to create from behind Raffael; Favre should be able to craft a very exciting and fun midfield.

-Glad for Hazard to score and Drmic to have a strong positive impact. Those two having great seasons would answer a lot of questions.

-Bummed I didn't get to see how Stindl looked playing up front with Raffael.

-Christensen, Elvedi and Egbo have made me ever more excited since you snapped them up. I've watched some of Elvedi's old matches and holy crap could he and Christensen/Alvaro become a simply majestic CB pairing. Both are natural thinkers of the game, both are mobile, and both are very skilled with the ball. With Alvaro, Tony, Wendt, Korb, Schulz and Nkansah, that D should only continue growing stronger in the coming years.

-I have to wonder if Favre doesn't try out a back 3 at some point. Jantschke and Dominguez are perfect for the outside CB spots; it would help cover for Stranzl/Brouwers's ever decreasing mobility; Egbo seems to be cut from the same cloth as Jantschke as a player and so to could find himself converted to CB by Favre in time; both Elvedi and Christensen should be able to thrive either sweeping up in the middle or as one of the outside CBs; between Wendt, Herrmann, Traore, Johnson, and Korb you'd be well set as far as wingbacks go; and it would give you better cover without needing a proper 6 behind the double-pivot;

Traore/Wendt/Johnson -- Alvaro/Christensen -- Stranzl/Brouwers -- Jantschke/Elvedi -- Herrmann/Johnson/Korb
becoming
Traore/Wendt/Johnson -- Alvaro/Schulz -- Elvedi/Christensen/Nkansah -- Jantschke/Egbo -- Herrmann/Johnson/Korb.

Actually I think Völler should just shut up and mind his own business.
Him crying about the refs this past season has already become comical but that quote was just plain out dumb and showed that he knows nothing about Jansen and the situation.
Just because he played until everyone and their mother called for him to finally stop doesn't mean everyone has to do so.

Jansen has played for 12 seasons(making a good amount of money) and had to deal with quite some injuries that never allowed him to gain back the form he had when he first started out for Gladbach.

Also, Marcel is one of the few professionell soccer players who already thought about his future during his playing days and is already an established business men in Hamburg.
If he would've gone somewhere else it would've been Portugal, England or maybe Italy and by doing so, his business and future would've been in danger.

So yeah, him ending his career at age 29 is pretty uncommon but calling him out and saying he never loved the game to begin with is just an insult to the guy and a dumb thing by Völler to do.

Well, Dahoud is getting there and one should also keep in mind that Nordtveit will miss the first two games thanks to that joke of a red card against Augsburg.

Egbo hasn't been part of the first team so far and hasn't been part of the preseason for Favres side. He's part of Andre Schuberts under 23 team.

Schulz has played CB every time he was on the pitch and they played him at CM last season with the U-23 team so he could get more comfortable with the ball on his feet and his passing game. So I doubt he's an option at CM for the first team.

Right now I feel pretty confident in stating that Christensen is a starter for us(at least as long as Stranzl's out) and that Dahoud has a chance to see minutes at the very least.
Brouwers, on the other hand, has been pretty shakey in the preseason and seems to have fallen behind the young guys. Could be him having the same "role" as Filip Daems had last year.

That Stindl/Raffael combo at striker is something I don't like that much cause there's not much thrive going into the box.

If we had a defense we'd win promotion *sigh* At least Kreilach continues to establish his fussballgott-hood as he was just a couple of inches away from completing his hattrick on the stroke of regulation to tie the game at 4. This start is starting to remind me of last season...

Look you can post wherever you want.

Though, it's quite interesting that you're always one of the top posters in the Bundesliga thread even though you always cry about hating everything german, that the league and teams are sh*** and what not.

One could really think you're just here trying to stir sh** up, but that's certainly not you.
Just like you never attack anyone even though that last sentence could be viewed a bit differently...
