I called it from the season start. The team was designed to assume the pitching wouldn't allow more than 2 runs a game lol.

Dilson finally gets sent back to AAA. He's great, but the only reason he was the major team was because of injured players. I was afraid rushing him in would ruin his development. But with Murphy back, I'm glad Dilson is back to working on his skills before he gets the permanent call.

Didn't see that coming from Kirk lol. Good for him.

Niese looking good.

A great finish before the break. Wish we could've kept going.

Bah... my dream of having 5 nasty young pitchers is done. Oh well. Niese is good 4th starter on most teams. So I'm happy this lefty is staying with us.

Going to miss Wheeler, especially Flores.

I just hope Gomez comes through.

Harvey
deGrom
Noah
Matz
Niese

Granderson (CF)
Wright (3B)
Cespedes (LF)
Duda (1B)
TDA (C)
Cuddyer (RF)
Murphy (2b)
Wilmer (SS)
P

That looks like a team that could make some noise over the next 2 months...

Need Matz, Cuddyer and Blevins to heal up quickly. And hope that David can stay on the field and still play at a high level. This is the Mets we're talking about, so obviously none of that will happen.

Hey people, what's happening? First time posting here, but been a Mets fan for 25+ years, born, raised, and still live in northern Illinois. I use Real GM mainly for the Bucks forum, hence my sig name ode to Jack Sikma. I will also disclose, that the Knicks are my second-fave NBA team, and have been since the glorious John Starks, who I loved to watch, especially since Bulls fans hated him. At any rate, just wanted to chime in. It's been a LONG time since Mets fans had much to be stoked about. I can say the same for the Bucks, too! Let's Go Mets.

P.S. ... I own and proudly wear a Timmy Teufel # 11 jersey. He was my fave from the '86 season, lol.

Not really a closer, but another reliever.

Mejia got suspended again.
Blevins out for season.
Some other injuries

Many things didn't go our way.

It'd be amazing if this team can win the division. The starting staff has the potential to be quite simply the best of all time.

Flores may not have pretty stats, but he's a guy you want to keep in your line up to bring in the wining run. By golly!!! He loves doing that!!

Wright and Cuddyer about to start rehab games. If all goes well with them, Collins is going to have trouble fielding the best team he can.
