Eric Bledsoe and Markieff Morris are still in Phoenix Suns uniforms, just not before September.
Once Morris remembers he makes $1m every 10 games, he'll be professional enough.

Re: Suns Offseason Thread 4: Where's Terrence Williams?
I don't think the emotional rawness of this all has worn off Kieff yet, he seems to take a lot to heart. Time and space are the 2 things he needs. The best the Suns can hope for is him to return to his pre-Mook days. A year ago we were all in the doom and gloom of Rich Paul jibbing the Suns. That all changed the second Bled signed. Maybe we get another one of those "surprises" with Kieff.
Just as a bit of a hypothetical: if the Suns were under the cap, would you be against them renegotiating Kieff's deal to give him say, $3M/yr more to make up for the "twin discount" we got from him? I don't think I would.

Hell no. We appease the whining crybaby by giving him MORE money? Like someone said earlier, I'd rather ship his ass to the d league.

Mr-Al wrote:The only feasible trade involving D-Mo

D-MO + Ariza for Kieff, Tucker, Goodwin
Salary wise it's a tough deal because you would basically have to have Ariza's contract being moved too. That would mean us basically being forced to move Tucker as well.
Meanwhile, we'd need to sweeten that pot and add some combination of Archie and/or a pick
The one I like better is
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=qz3anxy
Kieff, Tucker, Goodwin for Mirotic, Snell, and Kirk (include a pick too if needed)
Doubt they trade him, imo the Bulls would be a better team next season as a result of this
It would also mean really trusting Warren, Weems, and Snell with manning the SF position, Mirotic is worth it though
I think you are definitely on the right track--I believe our best option for getting rid of Kieff is via a packaged trade. If we try to trade him straight up, we likely will not be able to get a decent return. Additionally, it gives us an opportunity to package a couple of other assets as well. What I wouldn't do is trade either of our Miami Heat picks yet. We need to wait until we are closer to the 2018 draft and 2021 draft in order to 'realize' their full value--those are the kind of picks we throw in in a blockbuster deal for a star player.
I still think letting Kieff know that we are attempting to trade him to a team that is geographically close to Detroit will 'soften' his attitude some. He needs to understand that the only way he gets closer to his brother is to keep his trap shut and not be a distraction to the team--basically inform him that the only way he's traded is if we can obtain something of value, and if he continues to pout, moan, and gripe, he'll be a Phoenix Sun for a long time.
Here are a few options--and yes, I know I'm terrible at this 'trade machine game'...

John GambadoroSorry I can not divulge my sources, just know they are as solid as solid can be.

Allegedly this refers to the situation too, according to Chris Sheridian (I think it was him).

Idk if anyone mentioned it but it is worth nothing that Gambo said if Markieff is not traded, he is planning on showing up on the first day of training camp and not a moment sooner. Will not show up for pickup games or anything of that sort. Only going to show up on the first day of camp. In addition, Gambo said Markieff's conduct from then on will make it so the Suns do not want him around. Whatever that means, who knows, but it sounds like Markieff is going to try to make the Suns miserable by having him around. Him and his brother are about the most unprofessional athletes I have ever seen.

I think every single one of his impersonations have been on point so far, gotta give him mad props.
I like how the Brandon Knight video is accompanied by "I had a bad day". That's what happens when you play immediately into the league as if Archie would have the last couple of years. But it's nice to know by the time he got to Milwaukee he was a near all star.
I don't think he became a near all star by the time he got to Milwaukee, I think he became that after arriving in Milwaukee.
I hope he can do the same in the West because obviously East is significantly inferior to the West.

I mentioned that Kieff would be very butt hurt when we had the whole starting lineup and staff meeting with LMA to get him to Phoenix. I knew Kieff wouldn't take that lightly, and he probably feels very betrayed by everyone within the organization, especially after trading his brother. With his brother whispering in his ear like Grima Wormtongue there is no way he'll do anything productive for the Suns.

Man, Cousins needs to demand a trade to Phoenix. Him and Bled are tight.

I was thinking he was only in Milwaukee one year, but I guess last year was his second year there, so yeah, you're right.

Any way we can turn this into a good trade. Kieff wants out of Phoenix and Cousins want out of Sac. Of course, I am not suggesting anything close to a straight up trade. Maybe Kieff, Len, PJ and picks.
BTW. I do think there is a chance this will blow over. Anyone remember how volatile the situation was in Sac just before the draft. That seems to have calmed down some.

I don't think the Suns would want Gibson. He's a nice player, but he has no range. I can't see why the Pelicans would trade Ryan Anderson, especially with Gentry there, who likes to spread the floor. Maybe if it was a three way trade and they got Frye with Orlando getting Kieff, but that's still a downgrade for NO (only reason to do it is because they could lose Anderson next summer). Houston wouldn't want Morris...they want 3 pt shooters only.
The rest of the deals could happen. Looking at Marvin Williams #s, they are not bad. He's 29, but he could maybe provide leadership. It is low value, but it is probably going to be something like him or Frye. That McRoberts/Chalmers deal actually isn't bad either. McRoberts can stretch the floor. Landry's a hard worker but he's not a fit.
So I think only three of those deals are feasible, and they are all low value. If we could get Marvin, Frye, or McRoberts/Chalmers AND a first rounder, then it might be enough to pull the trigger.

Nope its just the calm before the coming storm. Vlade is just trying to steady the ship by playing mediator between the warring parties. Just wait till the regular season starts and tensions start to escalate. Karl is a snake and will likely have an ego clash with primma donnas like Boogie and Rondo who will insist on calling plays like he did while driving Dallas into the ground. It will be another standoffish Melo situation and Ranadive will probably intervene to choose Boogie and fire Karl. But anyways we don't have the assets to to acquire him

No I'm pretty sure Gambo has a substantiated source. Like maybe planting a mind reading device on Kieff that registers a tweet every time he gets a stupid career -sabotaging idea like this that will most likely number his playing days in the NBA and get him shipped to the Siberian Basketball League where we will never hear from him ever again because he will be having his ass freezed off in an abandoned labor camp all while attempting to construct a regulation court out of a thawed out tundra

I am not a Markieff's fan, but even to me those three more possible trades are really low offers.
Marvin Williams can be out of the league or playing for the minimun in 2016, I am not joking. He was terrible last year on both ends of the floor.
I like McRoberts, but he was out with a big injury last year so we don't even know if he is really healthy, he is a high risk player. BTW, we don't need Chalmers at all.
Frye played really bad for Orlando last year, and we don't have Dragic here anymore. With Chandler and Price we have veterans and he is clearly on the downside of his career so I wouldn't trade for him if Orlando doesn't attached to him an asset of great value .
