Anything the Rockets are giving us is going to be a bad trade.

Ilyasova? Lol people seriously think Keef is that bad. SMH

Having a hard time determining value and need on this one, but how about:

Suns trade:
Markieff/Tucker
Suns get:
Ibaka/Papa

Nugs trade:
Faried/Papa
Nugs get:
Markieff/Waiters

Thunder trade:
Ibaka/Waiters
Thunder get:
Faried/Tucker

Maybe if OKC merged with the Salvation Army.

KD's a UFA next off season so we could probably get OKC to include him too.

Probably Jones because of McD's love for Kentucky.

There is no way Houston even considers that. They are stacked as it is, no reason to bring on Kieff who is still butthurt over not being on the same team as his twin. Your lucky if you get Jones for Kieff let alone Monte and then Ariza to boot? Go try posting that on the Rockets board, they will all think you are crazy.

I said Jones OR Motiejunas, not both. And they can replace Ariza with the cheaper Tucker.

And you realize Houston doesn't have the cap space to keep them both right? Their both FAs next summer and next summer is when every single basketball player in America gets overpaid like hell. Rockets can't keep them both.

McHale did wonders for Josh Smith, I think they would be willing to take that risk with Kieff as well.

I figured they had bird rights, and with the rising cap, they would still probably avoid the tax, no?

Yes, you are having a hard time. Ibaka is WAY more valuable than some people give him credit for.

Any Markieff based trade involving Ibaka coming back to Phoenix would be pure genius by McD.

We should work a three way trade where we end up with Ibaka AND Cousins.

According to Reddit suns kieff is a 17/8 career player...ibaka and cousins is hardly fair, maybe OKC's 2023 first round unprotected pick. Throw in Tucker and a personal bus to even things up.

Suns: Taj Gibson, Chase Budinger, Myles Turner

Pacers: Markieff Morris, Tony Snell, Suns 2016 1st rounder (Top 10 Protected)

Bulls: PJ Tucker, Archie Goodwin

Pacers get the legitimate starting PF they were lacking to compete with Paul George and a young SF to replace Budinger

Bulls get a good role player for their system in Tucker and get a lot more versatility and SF depth, gets more minutes for Mirotic

Suns get a veteran starting PF and most importantly a great young PF prospect in Turner, Budinger lessens the SF load on Warren

Bled/Price
Knight/Weems/Booker
Warren/Budinger/Weems
Gibson/Mirza/Turner
Chandler/Len

(Chances are that Indy never gives up Turner, in which case, I would not do this trade)

Indiana would never give Turner. They are so high on him.

It's a simple system. You try to be a homer, you get downvoted. Why do you assume it's the opposite?

I don't understand people's infatuation with Taj Gibson. He is OK but nothing to write home about. At best he is a 6th man. He is NOT a starter quality player. His numbers are average at best. He is a dirt worker/hustle guy, that's it. There is no scenario where the Suns give up markieff AND a first for Taj. Straight up, I'm ok with just to get Markeiff's drama out of here. Look Taj is 30, there is no more upside at that age. What you see is what u get. I'm fine giving up markeiff straight up for TAj but nothing else. Basically Suns give up an Ok player for another OK player.

I understand that the Suns are more than likely to get screwed on any markeiff deal because he backed the Suns into a corner. At the same time I understand markeiff is another OK player. He just happens to play on a decent contract.

Markieff gets overvalued on this board way way too much. Yeah he is a decent player but he will never be an All-star. Best you can hope for with Markeiff is a 6th man of the year.

Edit: I didn't see Myles turner initially. I don't think they give him up.

I also said even if you started from this season on he still would never be a 17/8 guy. I mean, I think I'm being fairly realistic. Last time I said something in the NBA subreddit I mentioned how much of a douche jalen rose is and got downvoted to hell. Unfortunately for them my opinion is worth 40 downvotes in my eyes :D

Well, if you started counting from this season, then 17/8 is actually quite realistic. Of course, under assumption he won't age badly and ruin those numbers.

If you google "markieff trade," you will see a lot of team articles on how their team can get Markieff. They all have one thing in common, all their trash for Markieff. Gotta love it.
