Was hoping we'd miss Gray's turn in the rotation! Obviously would be happy with winning the series 2-1.

Nothing against joshgc, but should it not have been a different OP?

I think after Schad's attempt to fool the God's with the Farrell account backfired, it's better to just throw tradition/superstition out the window at this point.

We're at home and we can get to anyone including Sonny Gray. Let's keep the streak going. Sweep gets us to the magic number of 11...

I made the last game thread, and the blue jays swept, let me ride the thread making privileges until my luck runs away. Then someone else can take the throne.

Is the 13th a holiday in the US or something? Seems an odd time to have a day game?

That's what I mean, it doesn't matter who makes the game threads. As long as someone makes it and we can post in it.

That's right, I've fallen off the superstitious bandwagon. Farrell4Eva taught me a very valuable lesson.

Our new thing is to have someone new start every series thread... That's been yielding better luck.

I think it would be bad luck at this point to have someone make a new thread.

A's have a mini 3 game winning streak. Home Hutch was terrible last game.. I don't have a good feeling. Perhaps if Hutch does struggle, it will force Gibbon's hand to skip Hutch a few times like Zaun mentioned (send hutch down to minor for a few starts to keep him working)

Not that I care lol but I made the thread against the Twins and they swept that didn't stop you from making the new one.

Sorry bud, I waited all of Thursday night and Friday afternoon for someone to make the game thread. I wanted to talk about the series and no one was making a thread on one of the most important series of the year. I appologize, now I know not to make any more threads.

Should be a great series. Major advantage is our lineup and being home. 2-1.

Just leave the thread up. It doesn't matter at this point. It was just a little board inside joke.

Anyways, I haven't followed the As as of late but it looks like they're still mucking around the bottom the AL despite a pretty good run differential. Anyone know more about the guy they have going Wednesday?

I wonder what kind of reception Lawrie gets from the Rogers Centre crowd.
