2015 Training Camp Blues

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Tue Aug 4, 2015 6:29 pm

Training camp has kicked off for the Texans!

And they start with J.D. Clowney on the PUP and I just saw that Arian Foster suffered a serious groin injury. Hopefully it's not too serious.

That said...which veteran RB's are they going to look at if this is serious?

Clowney's father was arrested last night on the charge of attempted murder.

Why must our best players always get hurt? Son of a big ass biscuit.

Looks like the likely replacement is probably going to be Thomas. Nobody else seems worth bothering with.

Ray Rice, anyone?

LOL, just kidding. No thanks.

Rock Hill Police Department Capt. Mark Bollinger said David Morgan also was charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Morgan is in custody and awaiting a bond hearing, Bollinger said.

The police report said Morgan, nicknamed "Chilli Bean," was removed from the strip club for sitting on the stage. Police added that he was seen later at the back of the property before firing several rounds at victim Braxton Homesley. Police say Homesley returned fire.

Officers picked up Morgan at Piedmont Medical Center. He was being treated for a gunshot wound on his shoulder.

Placed on the IR, that sucks. I was looking forward to seeing him develop, even though he wouldn't have likely played much at all this season barring injuries to Hoyer/Mallet.

Nix getting cut is a disappointment. He was supposed to be our NT of the future, now he's just another wasted 3rd round pick. The way Covington has looked so far made him expendable anyways, I suppose.

Carr was already taken in the 2nd, but you're right we definitely could have had him. They went with Xavier instead, who I am still hoping turns out to be a stud. He looks good in the run game but not so much in pass protection.

I'm worried about the depth on the O-Line and D-Line, though the starters look to be strong when healthy. I especially can't wait to see Crick/Wilfork/Watt up front together!
