Edit: Maybe Karius and Park...that's it, though. Mainz are on downward spiral ever since Tuchel left. :banghead:

What is your take on Yunus Malli? I have him on my kicker team hoping he has a breakout season.

Karius is a very very good GK in my opinion. I was surprised when he signed a contract extension despite all the rumours about a move to Benfica.

But all in all, I agree. Mainz could face a tough season and needs some upgrades by the end of the transfer window.

I have never been a real fan of him but he probably is our best offensive player at this point...which makes me cringe.

For every good game he has there are at least five mediocre one's where he completely disappears.

He does run a lot but his efficiency in front of the goal is low. And he does not capitalize on his solid technical abilities enough for whatever reason.

With de Bruyne absolutely interested in joining Manchester City it will be interesting to see who Golfsburg would try to buy as his replacement.

IMO, if they're intelligent, they'll buy at least two new guys cause they won't find someone with his current production for the money and are still pretty thin.

- Roma seems to be very interested in Bundesliga players and are now said to be after left back Sead Kolasinac of Schalke
- BVB are said to be interested in a loan of Adnan Januzaj of Manchester United
- Vedad Ibisevic could join a club in the Emirates
- Ronny(Hertha) could join Al-Nasr Riad
- Stuttgart seems to be interested in Sebastian Langkamp of Hertha BSC
- Eduardo Vargas(Napoli) could join Hoffenheim
- Konstantinos Stafylides joins Augsburg from Leverkusen

Terrible news. They really really wanted him and a week after they finally get him this happens. Let's hope he comes back as the same player.

Yes please. He's making a lot of money for nothing.

No way. He's one of our most reliable, most important and not to forget one of very few CBs we have on the team. Preetz made it sound like we're going to buy/loan at least one more player, but even if it's a CB we can't let Langkamp go. Especially not to Stuttgart since they're in a very similar situation.

Don't do it, Preetz.

Realistically speaking he probably wont.

I'm sad for Aranguiz, but after all the **** thrown at Leicester City by BL there's a kind of karma involved.

Tuchel was experimenting. As soon as Castro was sent off for Sokratis, and Bender for Weigl, we took the game. Castro sucks.

I still don't know why Dortmund felt like it was a good idea to buy him.

Castro's fine as an 8, nothing great and his transfer fee was too high, but he's not bad at that spot. But he hasn't played FB since he was young and wasn't as good at it as he should've been even then. As part of the cover for Ilkay (and Miki if they play a more 4-3-1-2 like shape) with Kuba, Kampl and Miki if he's not playing a pseudo-8 role; Castro can do well, especially for Tuchel. But as a RB he's a mess, even if Pisczek has been one of the few dortmunders who hasn't seemed to be at his very best under TT.

TBH they should play all of Pisczek, Durm, Kuba, and Sokratis, at RB before they try Castro there again.

He's solid and they thought Ilkay was leaving, so they wanted a solid BuLi-vet that they could just plug in for Gundogan while Ilkay's true replacement was developed/polished/acclimated.

Not sure what the Bundesliga did to you guys but Aranguiz wanted to go to Leverkusen and nowhere else.

BTW: That article(de Bruyne) on the front page is pure crap and has already been denied. I think that de Bruyne saga will go on for about a week with Golfsburg hoping for even more money from Citeh.

Oh, and Castro looked really disinterested in playing that RB role again yesterday.

You're now a Leicester City fan as well?

I think he'll go to England at the end of the transfer window.
Though, I just don't really care, just like I don't care about Wolfsburg unless we play them.

I guess we are arrogant. I mean, we actually enjoy the football being played in our league and will admit as much under interrogation. Which I can understand why a fan of the Superlig, Serie A, or EPL wouldn't be able to understand; and so perceive as trashtalk. ;-)

Hertha look a lot better moving forward than I expected in this second half. That's the 2nd or 3rd excellent opening they've found.

EDIT: Jesus are they lucky they didn't concede there. Ujah wasn't offsides. Luckily he **** up the finish anyway, but that was a slick pass from Bartels.
