at you calling a young charles Barkley "compact." And he was certainly over 260 at multiple points as a young player. If any of you catch NBA TV's 1984 Draft special, they note how Barkley was reportedly tipping scales around 300 lbs, and that was at just under 6'5''. Earning such nicknames as "Bread Truck," "Food World," "Crisco Kid," "Goodtime Blimp," and of course the "Round Mound of Rebound." Charles Barkley was fat. Powerful, reasonably quick, could jump, but was pretty fat.
PJ Tucker is not nearly as fat, and actually seems quite built. He could certainly weigh around 260 lbs sometimes. Of course the "official listings" are hardly always accurate, so there's that to consider as well.
