Furthermore I'd like to emphasise that I like Germans and the Bundesliga. German's are arrogant but no more arrogant than us Brits nor the yanks, it's more self-confidence anyway.
As for the bundesliga it's a very good league, it's one drawback is that everyone knows who is going to win the league before a ball is kicked but after that the league is reasonably homogenic.
Bayer though were rude and dismissive to Leicester City, they basically compared us to dog poo on the bottom of their shoes and arrogantly claimed how much better than us they were. They may be a better team than us - though on present form that may not be true - we've won 9 of our last 11 - the best in Europe and a team that is definitely improving but I think Bayer may be better than us. They certainly have CL qualigying football most years but this is really due to the fact that in Germany their is one team above all others whilst in England we have an "elite" 4 to 6 meaning the rest of the teams are very unlikely to make a CL spot.
If Bayer were in the premier league they wouldn't get into europe, in fact they'd do well to be mid table at the end of the season - just like us.
I think there were also questionable signing tactics with Bayer not getting an offer accepted by Inter and yet still talking to an under contract players without permission. If they had just been willing to match Leicester's offer from the start then they would have got the player immediately and possibly he'd have been able to acclimate better to the team before the season started.
I can understand why Aranguiz wanted to go to Bayer and I accept that he though it was best for him.
In summary, I like German's and the bundesliga, I have no ill will towards Aranguiz and hope he fully recovers from his injury but I still think Karma had a say with regards Bayer.
OK, I didn't know that and I really didn't follow what Bayer said all that much. Though, given that Völler's there main voice to the media, I wouldn't expect anything respectful at all.

What I heard/read all the time was Aranguiz and his management only wanting Leverkusen and that's where he ended up.
That's understandable given Bayer's reputation and scouting in south america were they found guys like Lucio, Ze Roberto, Paulo Sergio, Diego Placente, Arturo Vidal, Emerson, Renato Augusto, Wendell etc.
So good luck to you guys in reaching your goals and at least staying up, cause that's important for 2nd year teams as well, given that that seasons, most of the time, is even tougher then the first one.

Well, a comunio season for this forum(no matter which league) would be interesting.
I'm currently playing Kicker Pro(and Interactive) with another forum and we did a Draft version(snake draft, I started at #6) of it.
I of course picked Nastasic, who's out for the first half of the season.
My team looks like this:
-------------Aubameyang-----------Drmic-------------
-Hazard---------------Groß--------------------Klaus--
-------------------Goretzka-----Geis------------------
--------Christensen------Marcelo-----Hübner--------
----------------------Sommer--------------------------
Bench: Sippel, da Costa, Nastasic, Morales, Dahoud, Wagner, Stroh-Engel
