Talk about your favorite, or hated, 2016 NFL Draft prospects here.

To kick it off, here's a critical breakdown I did on a likely top-15 pick

Joey bosa seems like the next jj watt

Vernon hargreaves is going to be a shutdown corner.

Not really about a draft prospect but this year's 4-3 defensive ends(i think bosa and nkemdiche can be strongside ends) look terrible early on.

I wrote this on Christian Hackenberg as I am the de facto anti-Hack person in the draft media world:

ogbah and jimmy bean for ok st lookin good so far. will be interesting to see them line up against heard.

also, the big 12 is loaded w/fast dudes at wr, latest to catch my eye is jakeem grant for texas tech. of course, his size will probably hinder him from even being a slot guy at the next level.

also nkemdiche was a f*cking monster against bama saturday, he could do no wrong

Random thoughts on a few guys after 4 weeks of CFB.

--no player has fallen more than Cardale Jones. All his potential is just that, potential. The actual game is somewhere below EJ Manuel or a much heavier Drew Stanton right now.

--I know the scouting media disagrees but I'll bet money right now Connor Cook is a top 5 pick. Every NFL scout I talk to, and my contact list keeps growing, thinks he's for real.

--love what I've seen with Jaylon Smith. Everything I wanted to see him do better, he's done it. My best comparison for him is Lance Briggs, and I consider Briggs a borderline HOFer. Special player.

--time to start putting C.J. Prosise in the 2-round mock drafts, too. Talked to an AFC South scout right after the ND/GT game and he thought Prosise was the best senior RB in the nation. I know the Senior Bowl talked to him this week, that's a big step for him.

--I watched Bronson Kaufusi in person at Michigan. There's not much there, unfortunately. Rotational 3-4 5T or backup 4-3 RDE. He's right at the height point of diminishing returns, maybe a bit over it.

--Jake Butt will be coming out, and he's a top 50 prospect. I like him more than others do but that 50 number sure seems like his floor at this early stage

--still haven't seen Jared Goff this year but I'm fixing to change that this week

My big board right now:
1. Joey Bosa
2. Laremy Tunsil, and I don't care (much) that he hasn't played
3. Jaylon Smith
4. Robert Nkemdiche
5. Ronnie Stanley
6. Jayron Kearse
7. Michael Thomas
8. Jalen Ramsey
9. Anthony Zettel
10. Vernon Hargreaves

No QBs, but like I said I haven't seen Goff this year

Non-1st round guys I like, in no order
--Danzel McDaniel, CB, Kansas State
--Maurice Canady, CB, Virginia
--Paul Perkins, RB, UCLA
--Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
--Cayleb Jones, WR, Arizona
--Siaosi Aiono, C, Utah
--Dean Lowry, DE, Northwestern

Connor Cook just doesn't seem accurate enough to me to be a top 5 pick. He could be a starting NFL QB, just not a guy I want to be my starting QB. If nobody else emerges, somebody will probably reach though.

CBS Sports has Lynch going top 10. Do we like him?

I'm leading the charge, have been a fan of his for some time. Piece talking about him just sent in, should be on the main NFL page by noon Friday

I think Jalen Ramsey is the best corner prospect in a good little while.

I don't think he's a Pro Bowl talent, but I can see him as a middle of the pack NFL starter. Someone in the Tannehill, Carr, Flacco mold.

I had hardly heard anything about Wentz and now he's being mentioned with the second pick. What happened that he went up the board this fast?

He came back from injury and then had a very strong Senior Bowl.

Most interesting prospect this year for me is Noah Spence. He's talented enough to be a top 10 pick, but his off the field problems could push him down to who-knows-where.

Strong Senior Bowl and the fact that he's just under 6'6" 235 lbs and is extremely mobile. Having arguably the strongest arm in the draft helps too.
