I thought he just banged knees or something then on the replay it looked like he get hit in the groin but he ended up holding his knees, anyways he stayed on the bench and looked fine

Are you dumb?
lol just lol at this guy, maybe you should watch the entire game instead of the last five minutes, Scola was having a bad game by his standards up to the point when I made the post, it was Nocioni who got Argentina back into the game when Scola went to the bench but ballboy's gonna ballboy

Actually I was watching the entire game. Scola started off almost perfect in Field goals and 2/2 from the 3 point line. And started the game with 11 points in 5 minutes. Maybe next time, instead of judging a players entire performance based on a 5 minute span and saying "has looked pretty bad", you should evaluate his play for the entirety of the game.
"Having a bad game by his standards".
That means nothing to me, unless you are secretly Scola, and know what his standards are at the age of 35.
His standard now, is averaging 8 points and 5 rebounds in the NBA for the past 2 years.

If Doornekamp is the last cut it would be good to know who they're looking at to backup Wiggins.

Best remaining options would be Ejim and Bennett, unless I'm missing someone. Might have to roll with Stauskas for spot minutes. Could have plugged and played with Trey Lyles, but...
jonny three time wrote: I know it would come down to them, I was just wondering if either actually played SF in this game and how they looked doing it.
Relying on Stauskas and the other guards to backup the 3 would be a terrible idea and would lead to wiggins being overplayed in games where our guards can't hang with their SFs. It comes down to the power forwards getting it done and it would be nice to see before just believing they can.

lets see, you thanked sisibilio for posting a streaming link, at that point it was already the second quarter, so it was unlikely that you had a stream otherwise you wouldn't had thank him, therefore you did not watch the entire game
Scola's game isn't depended on athleticism so his age isn't going to be a big factor, he averaged 20 and 9 in last year's world championships so did he played below his standards? Sure but it wasn't just his stats, his defense looked bad, had a bunch of careless passes, bricking freethrows etc.

He didn't play.

moemoe2423 wrote:Actually I paid for the live basketball subscription before hand. And was streaming it. I was thanking him for sharing a link with realgm so everyone could watch. Nevertheless. What does that have to do with anything. That does not take away from the facts I've stated.
Again. It's funny that you're defending yourself so badly. No one on these forums except you believes scola played bad. And then you tried twisting your comment after someone called you out on it.
Your first comment was illogical. That's like saying lebron has played bad because of some bad plays he had during a certain stretch, but has 20 5 and 5 in the 3rd quarter. I don't know if you realize this, but usually in sports, you don't judge a players entire game for a stretch where he missed a shot or turned it over.
He had 23 and 8 this game...
It's okay if you can't admit your wrong,
Cheers to you.
moemoe2423 wrote:First of all, your post was in the 3rd quarter, and to be quiet honest, Scola at that point was playing better than most players on the Canadian team. Including wiggins. You just cannot fathom how your lack of basketball knowledge and basketball review has been actually pointed out.
LOL you think I purposely waited until the end to comment on your post? How sad is it that one would think that. After the game concluded, I came to this thread and read your comment, and laughed out loud when i read your comment because of how idiotic it sounded. Again, you were the only one on these forums who believed in such a fairy tale that scola played bad. Even if it was up to that point. Because it wasn't true.
Me butt hurt? hahahahhahahahahahhahahhahhhaha.
Butt hurt about what? you think i care? Like i said, I just had to respond to such an idiotic post.
You're the one who was sooooo butt hurt you got called out, you had to reply back with a comeback that a 12 year old would have made..
What is also funny is, when i completely falsified your arguments with facts, you ignore them. But i guess the planet where your from, Scola played bad or not up to his "standards"...
bahahahahahhahahaaaaaaaaaa

Considering the group we took, there really needs to be a commitment to Ejim at the SF spot. I didn't watch the whole game, but didn't see Ejim play anything other than PF. It's too bad.
