Gallardo has gone downhill since the All Star break.

He has an ERA of 5.25, FIP of 4.90 , WHIP 1.75 and BABIP .336, and hitters are hitting .316 AVG and .383 OBP off him since then.

The Jays have 85 more runs than the next highest scoring team.

Gallardo is starting Thursday. They skipped the lefty Perez out of fear.

Dang! I was afraid they'd be smart and do that.

Man this offence is downright scary. Bautista seems to be heating up, Edwin has caught fire....and we've got MVP20 too.

Fun times, we deserve this...
That's what she said.

Yeah, he's also the fourth-worst hitting full-time OF in MLB in terms of wRC+. No doubt he's got a great glove, but make no mistake that he's the OF equivalent of Ryan Goins.

It counts for everything considering how bad Reyes was. Choke jobs are much less frequent with better defense, especially at SS which is a position where good fielding is super important.
