Dodgers and Mets have identical records.
One team went 0-5 and the other team went 4-1 last week.. Guess which team is ahead in the Power Rankings?

It doesn't matter.
Just pointing out the incredible bias towards the Yankees and Dodgers ESPN has.
It's sad and almost troll-like.

And the Yankees are still atop the Blue Jays...ESPN oblivious as usual.

I've heard of an east coast bias.
I've heard ESPN shows LeBron too much.
ESPN has a Dodger bias?
uhhh…ok.

ESPN has a bias towards big market/high payroll teams and marketable superstars.
Not that there is a problem with that. It's how they make their money.

Jeff Passan is to Mike Trout what Skip Bayless is to Michael Jordan. The lengths that man goes to prop up Trout is insane. If Trout was leading the MLB in RBI's, then you can be sure that Passan would be using that as evidence for his MVP case. I remember when Cabrera won the MVP during his triple crown year, Passan acted like Cabrera had no right to that award because of some arbitrary stats.
(Passan rant over)

Trout did get robbed the years Cabrera won, but Passan has no argument here. Even if you disregard RBI count and go with advanced stats, Donaldson is still arguably the better player (and at worst, they are tied).

The Mets are ridiculous right now. With the offence clicking and that lights out pitching staff, I could see them coming out of the NL.

He automatically loses all credibility (as well as his editor) for using "RBIs" in a headline.
Just that little "s" used to pluralize is the most infuriating thing.

It's the Mets, they'll find a way to choke. Plus, I see at least one of the three Central teams representing the NL.
*crosses fingers that it isn't the goddamn Cardinals*
