T-Mac. If only he was the one playing with Shaq, they could have rivaled the Bulls, toe-to-toe.

Man, this is one good ass question. Penny and T-Mac are 1a, 1b my favorite Magic players of all time. Penny's Court vision was so great and the way he could operate on the perimeter for his size. For this team, I'm going with T-Mac unlimited range, pair him with the young guns of Payton's vision, Oladipo's slashing and athletic ablitiy, I would start Tobias at the Four and Vuc's Pick and pop game. would be one tough cover. Ask me this question years when we were contending with Dwight, Jameer and Lewis... Penny would fit in well with that team.

Absolutely, Penny was exactly what that team needed. No offense to Jameer.

I'd say this team needs T-mac's 32 ppg more than penny's passing, putting less pressure on our backcourt and allowing O to focus more on defence.

I've got firm memories of both players, and while Penny's prime was not what was expected due to his knee problems, I still take Tracy Mcgrady, who was more athletic, a better scorer and leaps and bounds more physical than Penny Hardaway could have ever been. Playmaking edge goes to Penny, but TMac couldn't turn **** into gold, so we have no idea how good an assist man he could have been had the roster been better.

I think Penny in his prime could also go 32 ppg with the crap roster and fg attempts T-mac had around.
There simply was no need to score 32ppg with Shaq around and later when Shaq run away like a lil scoundrel he is
Penny was already plagued with injuries so he wasnt in his prime at that moment.
Still
17-5 start to the '96 season without Shaq 26.4ppg, 5.3rpg, 6.8apg and 50.3% from the field
